It has a really nice weight and feels sturdy. Haven't had issues yet. But I got the protection plan because I heard there are a few issues

Better than the original but quality issues

As someone who has hand tremors due to Parkinson’s disease, adjusting the joystick tension so it is harder to move reduces the negative effect of my tremors. I also like having an additional position for trigger pull depth. To further fine tune the triggers you can us the Xbox app to change the point at which the trigger reacts to your pull. I created a dead spot at the beginning of my left trigger pull because I was unintentionally putting tension on the trigger. So if I jumped in Destiny 2 it would cancel my jump. Now I have no issues. On the downside after a few days of use, the right trigger started squeaking verhy loudly. I searched YouTube and found a video that recommended using a dry lube like WD40 Teflon spray. Worked like a charm for me. Microsoft only offers a 90 day warranty so I recommend buying the extended warranty from Best Buy.

I am a long time console gamer, and about 2 years ago I built a gaming PC. Moving over to the keys took some getting used to but once I was comfortable with it, I swore I would never use a controller again. Fast forward to Elden Ring dropping and just seems like the game was MADE FOR controller. So I went and picked up the Xbox Elite and I was super impressed. The build quality is very good, the swappable sticks are all magnets and hold perfectly. The rear buttons also pop on and off without tools giving you the option to remove them if not in use. All of it is packaged in a great carrying case that can be left plugged in via USB C, allowing the controller to charge when in storage. If you are looking for a quality controller, and have been considered this one… BUY IT! You will not be disappointed.

It comes with one little magnetic piece to connect it but that's it. Other than that it is definitely a solid controller

The whole setup is very nice and makes you want to take good care of it. The additional pieces to switch between to customise are also very nice, even if you only plan to have them as back up pieces

I’ve always wondered if they were worth the money and I found out ! I LOVE IT !! Should have bought one years ago. Programming has stepped up my game and it’s very comfortable. Live the charging cradle / case.

Quality is bad but while it worked, the battery life is great! Having buttons mapped to the underside helps in the heat of the moment
