Easy Christmas gift for gamers
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my husband for Christmas. I don’t know much about these things but he loves it. I tested it also and noticed the texture is like soft silicone plus the added weight from the steel material feels good in your hand. Easy to modify. Overall a great purchase !

It's good, but you already knew that!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There's plenty of third-party accessories for this controller, so don't feel like you're missing out on anything and they can be had for less than buying the regular Elite controller. The only downside is that there's no way to easily replace it if there's stick drift. I wish it had Hall Effect joysticks or replaceable ones like another Edge controller for another company ;-), but that said, I still have the original Elite and it's working great and it's a few years old at this point. So I have no fear this will also pass the test of time!

Really nice
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Truly the benchmark for quality in gaming controllers. Solid, feels great, and thorough attention to detail. The triggers are long enough for racing games but can be shortened as well. I only wish they let you choose between the concave joysticks or convex like on Nintendo and Playstation. Concave never made any sense...

It's fine.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's fine. Bought as a replacement for another Elite controller, which was also a replacement for an Elite controller. The previous two, the rubberized grips separated and the controller shell underneath broke apart. Both lasted about a year. If this one comes apart, I'll look at non-Microsoft brands.

Elite II is still the Best
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So much better than the standard controller. Quality has always been solid. Have rarely had connection issues. Still the best controller on the xbox side of things, in our opinion. Highly recommended.

The Ultimate Controller for Precision Gaming!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently picked up the Microsoft Elite Series 2 Wireless Controller for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC from Best Buy, and it’s hands-down one of the best gaming investments I’ve made! The premium build quality instantly stands out—its weight and textured rubberized grips feel sturdy and comfortable, perfect for long gaming sessions without any slip. The customizable features are a dream for any gamer. With interchangeable thumbsticks, D-pads, and four back paddles, I can tweak it to fit any game, from shooters to racing titles. The Xbox Accessories app makes button mapping and profile switching a breeze, letting me save up to three custom setups for quick changes on the fly. Performance-wise, it’s flawless. The adjustable-tension thumbsticks and hair-trigger locks give me pinpoint accuracy and faster response times, which have noticeably upped my game in competitive titles. The 40-hour battery life is a huge plus—no more worrying about recharging mid-session—and the included USB-C cable and charging dock keep things convenient. Whether I’m playing on my Xbox Series X, PC, or even via Bluetooth on other devices, the connection is seamless with zero lag. This controller is a total powerhouse for anyone serious about gaming!

Amazing Controller
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller is fantastic. I was skeptical. The price is a bit steep. That said, the controller has some weight to it. It's study and the internal rechargable battery last A LONG time. Best controller I've ever owned.

Worth the premium price tag
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Controller is excellent for it's intended gaming purpose. Definitely a must have if you play COD, Fortnite, PUBG, etc. Just be prepared for the dreaded stick drift. There is a warranty from Microsoft for 1 year included with controller. I have used it once - service was quick. Buttons are swappable/customizable for aesthetic purposes. I have purchased 2, and would not hesitate to purchase more in the future if needed.

||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The control controller is all right. It works well. I like to custom ability of it, but the LB/RB button stop working sometimes and it gets stick drift after a while. I had a black one that got stick drift, and the LB button stopped working.

A good replacement, ASAP
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice build and weight. Fits in my (admittedly large) hands. Good replacement if your old elite controller starts having drift and you can't wait for Microsoft to send in a refurbished replacement. If using on PC, make sure to update the controller before using it.

Awesome controller for people who aren’t children
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly, the best controller ive ever used and purchased. Completely blew the base controller out of the water. For the extra price, the added benefits really are worth it. Ive had it for six months now with daily 2-3 hour usage on it, not a single issue. The people complaing about issues are the ones who cant take a loss and throw their controller in a fit of rage. Its a premium controller, not a wii remote. Treat it like a premium product and it’ll reward you swimmingly.

Pro Series 2 Controller Xbox
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It works good when brand new, within a few month of gameplay. Either the left or the right thumbsticks get stick drift. Then I have to get it exchanged l. BestBuy makes it easy to exchange broken warrantied items with their yearly renewable total protection plan as well.

Better than the default controller!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Red Microsoft Elite Series 2 Controller serves as a budget-friendly alternative to the premium Elite Series 2 model. While it lacks the additional accessories included with the standard version, it features a plastic-coated body with rubberized grips, rather than the full rubberized texture found on the premium model. Despite these differences, this controller is a noticeable improvement over the standard Xbox controllers. For a slightly higher price, it offers an impressive battery life and the convenience of built-in recharging. If you're looking for an affordable entry point into the Elite Series 2 lineup, this is a solid option. However, I personally prefer the texture and included accessories of the default Elite Series 2 controller, as they provide a more premium and comfortable experience. Overall, I’d rate this model 4 stars: it’s a great step up from the basic Xbox controllers but falls short of the comfort and quality of the black Elite Series 2 controller.

The build quality feels premium and solid
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Elite Series 2 Core is hands down the best controller I’ve ever owned. The build quality feels premium and solid, with a great weight in the hands. The grips are super comfortable for long gaming sessions, and the adjustable tension thumbsticks make a huge difference in precision. Battery life is excellent, and I love that it works seamlessly across my Xbox Series X, PC, and even cloud gaming. The customization options really elevate gameplay, and the overall performance is smooth and responsive. If you want a reliable, pro-level controller that takes gaming to the next level, this is it. Quality build
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Recommend, especially if you already have an elite or elite accessories. Without the accessories I do not think it is worth it. In my case i have an ild elite with stick drift and stuck buttons that is no longer under warranty. Bought this as a cheaper alternative as all of the additions work with it as well.

Great until it isn't
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The elite series 2 is a great controller up until the moment it is not. I highly recommend the 2 year protection plan for this. I have gone through maybe 6-7 of this controllers since 2020, about 1 a year. Either the Y or B button stops to register or the bumpers no longer work.
