My only problem with it is that the paddles don't give me a steady stream of shots in my games. Even when I hold the paddles all the way down, it still has a significant stutter effect when I'm shooting my weapons in The Division 2.

Parts relative to the more expensive version seem plastic which means it will likely break earlier.

Owned for 9 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is my second Elite 2 since its launch and this one also has different issues from the first I had to exchange for quality issues with the triggers. This one has an RB that sometimes doesnt register or registers two inputs instantly. As well as an X button that has become spongy over time, Which has never happened before on any controller Ive had, Its not cheeto or dorito ingress. And multiple attempts at compressed air has yielded no improvements, I can only chalk this up to manufacture defects. As to the one this replaced, It had an LT that would get stuck on 0% depression until "Broken" through with unnatural force. As if some component within was brushing against the trigger housing. $200 for a premium product with magnitudes worse QC than the standard issue controllers. And this is just a repeat of the Elite 1. Microsoft outdoing its premium product quality flops yet again. At least the rubberized grips dont slough off after a few months like the first one did.

Build quality feels solid, used it to beat Jedi Fallen Order recently and the adjustable thumbstick tension and trigger adjustments are nice touches for sure. I've used the pedal triggers but mostly I take them off, I haven't had that much of a use for them save for one game so far, Devil May Cry 5 and in that it was nice. The app is pretty straightforward as well.

This was not fun to deal with of course, but the exchange process was easy, and the controller feels great to use for console gaming!
