An amazing controller has a very nice battery life and wireless charging

love being able to adapt the paddles to what I need on different games!

The controllers A button and Y button feel unresponsive at times when pressing it. I’ve heard that is a known problem with some elite controllers.

I own the first one which is great. I bought the new and it is 10 times better. Tension control thumb sticks are awesome! Smaller paddles which is great cause I used to accidentally hit the bottom ones on the series one. Not sure why some people are saying the controller is slippery, cause I don’t have issues with that. Nothing negative to say about the controller at all

I have used both the standard Xbox One and the Xbox Elite controller and this V2 is a great modern option. It will also connect to the Xbox Series X. While the Elite had the rubber that would separate from the bottom plastic, this V2 has rubber that wraps around, with the only downside is that it leads to sweatier hands during gaming sessions.

Had the series 1. Tried and loved the series 2. Bought the series 2.

The Elite Series 2 appears to have a better build quality than the Series 1 that I previously owned that the covering started to fall apart. I was also noticing gimbal drift that was very annoying. Fortunately I had purchased the Best Buy warranty. I used the purchase refund towards the Series 2 with the Best Buy warranty. So far I am very pleased with the performance.

I've gone through two of these controllers now with an additional 4 Series 1 Elite Controllers. Luckily I got the Geek Squad protection because I've used it on every single one of them within a year of getting the controller. My first series 2 had problems within a couple months with the A button not registering when pushed. So I exchanged it for a new one and right out of the box the new one has the same problem but even more severe. This is unacceptable for a controller that costs $180. Across both series of these the Elite Controllers I've now had a total of six and not a single one has lasted more than 6-8 months. I would absolutely not recommend wasting your money on this controller.
