It’s quite disappointing that a controller at this cost isn’t perfect upon unboxing. It did feel nice in my hands, that’s why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1. But disappointed how it looks. Nothing special about spending 3x the cost of a normal controller, unless you’re a sweaty gamer that needs the paddles, but even then better options are available.

I do however, prefer the old way of swapping batteries, vs the built in battery in the long run, fearing not being able to change batteries. Other than that, it's excellent. I have so far, had none of the issues mentioned in other reviews. Excellent controller!

Thank you for sharing how much you're loving your new Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2! The internal rechargeable battery is designed to hold its full charge for over 2 years with minimal degradation, however we encourage anyone who experience issues with it to contact Xbox Support.

If you're unfamiliar with the term "drift", when referring to a controller, it means "a joystick that inputs movement even when you're not touching it".

And not to mention the paddles to assist with quicker reaction while in game.

You can get them for ablut $10 on amazon so its still prices better than the standard elite 2 if you sont need the charging case, extra thumbsticks etc

The only downside to it that he wishes was different is that the controller can be chargeable and battery operated.

The option of easily switching between devices (PC to Xbox vice versa) with the push of the same button twice is something that I never thought I needed.
