Works for a few months until the bumpers and x,a,b,y buttons stop working all the time. Not worth the price, Your buttons will cease to function faster than a $60 controller would. The build quality is fine, just not the design.

Love the ability to assign the back buttons for ease of gaming. The triggers can be adjusted on the Xbox during setup for sensitivity. Love it. Would buy again

For those who are serious about every conceivable advantage this is it. The adjustable triggers alone make it worth it. Everything else is a bonus.

Look, this controller is awesome, I love playing on it... but just like the original elite controller, it gets stick drift and it gets it really fast. You are going to fall in love with this thing and a few months later it will be unusable. If you want to get this, make sure you get the geek squad protection or you will be stuck with a 180 dollar paperweight.

I got what I paid for. Missing a USB cable. A right bumper that works most of the time. The rubber end on the stopper switch spontaneously went missing

Changing all of it is incredibly easy. It’s heavier than original controller but no big deal

4th time purchasing out of warranty. (1-3 were all the first gen elite controllers). 1st controller had stick drift even with dead zones set crazy high. 2nd controller right thumb stick was pressed and never retracted. 3rd controller the battery would die after 10 min of use (had to use wired). Decided to give a shot at the second gen elite figured they might have ironed out their issues AND NOW MY 4th has unbelievable controller drift. I will never buy a overpriced controller again from Microsoft. I’ve wasted almost 800 I’m just happy this last controller took a **** before the return date was up. It’s sad because I really loved the controller but I can only take so much abuse. I will be returning tomorrow

Well you guys already know xbox is the winner, tgis controller as everything you need specifically the color

One of the controllers and the customer service it was super nice, always get my items from best buy.

First, I had the elite controller 1st generation, and it stopped sending audio to the headset. I thought that it was my headset so I bought a new one. I had the same issues with a new headset. I found out that it was actually the controller. After my elite 1st gen failed (after about 1yr.), I bought the elite 2. I figured the failure of the first may have been a fluke. However, after about 9 months, the elite 2 started to have issues with headset audio… Which happened after “A” button issues. Then, I started to have issues with the controller randomly disconnecting from the xbox in the middle of gameplay. Now, it just totally failed. All of a sudden (middle of gameplay), half of the buttons stopped working. Tried resetting the Xbox, resetting the controller, and still not working. Don’t waste $200 on a controller that only lasts 1yr. Happened with my elite 1, and again with the elite 2.

Well worth it if you plan to use all the features. One thing i would strongly recommend is the geek squad warranty. Trust me on this one. Its worth the cost for peace of mind.

The top bumpers stopped working with the first month. 3 months in, they work every now and then. I’ve had issues in The middle of a game with them and it has been frustrating.
