I love it so far.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The customization of this controller is awesome! The paddles and trigger locks are a game changer.. There is a learning curve to the paddles, I suggest starting with two paddles on the back and getting those down first. When you feel this controller in your hand, you will not want to ever pick up a regular Xbox controller again. Highly recommend.

This Xbox Elite controller is a Lit
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was tired of buying a new controller every 3 months so I decided to upgrade to one made with durable components. I’ve owned two of these controllers. I returned the first one due to stick drift. There was no problem with the return and my new controller is working great. I highly recommend upgrading to the elite controller 2.

Finally lives up to its promise!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Maybe I just got lucky but this is the first Elite Series 2 controller I've purchased without button issues right out of the box. After a few attempts to get a working controller through Microsoft's warranty program, I finally decided to just return the $179 version. I saw this $129 controller in store and decided to take one more stab at it, maybe they'd finally resolved their issues. At first glance -- it does appear to work way better than the $179 verison, and it still has all the comfortable heft that the previous controller has. The only downside is that this version doesn't come with the charging case and extra paddles/thumbsticks. On the upside, Microsoft lets you keep the paddles/thumbsticks from the mainline Series 2 controller when replacing under warranty, so I have plenty of those laying around! :D

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife bought this for me, along with several other peripheral items, and my new X Box X series, for Christmas 2025. It's been amazing! The sensitivity and ease of use is great. I most definitely would recommend and/or repurchase this controller/brand again!

On the bubble?
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Waited for the 2nd version and I'm glad. This is a great controller and certainly worth the $ compared to the regular controllers. The adjustability sets it apart but the durability is all I care about. Feels good in your hand. If you've been on the bubble about getting it don't hesitate.

Great controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I personally like the added weight when playing along with the no slip grips makes for a enjoyable playing experience. The 3 trigger settings along with fine tuning the analog sticks comes in very handy. Upgraded from the Elite First addition. If you had the first one you will love this one even more.

Best option out there.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The feeling in my hands that this controller gives me I feel like what it would be like to pull out Excalibur, so she is named just that. Customization is 'preme, as is the feel, function and pretty much everything about this thing. Was reluctant with all the bad reviews it gets nut I don't regret a thing.

Great Controller
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best gaming controller I have ever seen. Almost entirely metal control components, feels solid in the hand. This controller makes the PS5 dual sense controller look cheap (and DEFINITELY makes the regular Xbox controller feel cheap). The adjustments and precision this controller allows for makes it worth the price.

Great controller
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really enjoying this controller. I love how you can change light color on the center button light and the paddle buttons. Makes playing fps games easier to play. Plus I like the trigger sensitivity control levers so I can just barely press aim and trigger buttons to shoot faster. The battery life is awesome, barely have to charge it.

controller+1
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i cannot stress enough get the protection, rather the total plan or the one off 2 year protection plan. both this and the Sony elite controllers will break in less than three months, this is coming from a moderate player who only plays weekends and a little in the week. if you are a heavy gamer do not cheat yourself. in terms of the actual feel and features its amazing just built with no durability.

Best xbox controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best premium xbox controller without the Hall effect joysticks. The materials that dampened the plastic cheap feel. Iconic xbox controller hand position. Not worth the regular price. Wait for a sale or open box.

Great now, only time will tell
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m a light ‘gamer’ with an obsession for new hardware. Compared to the in-box controller, the XE2 is a no-brainer. Compared to the XE1, things get a little closer. Aesthetically, the E2 looks better imo. Maybe it’s just because it’s different than the first gen... who knows. The feel... Feeling the controller in hand is everything I expected, and wanted. The internal battery makes the back less-crammed. The triggers feel bitter-smooth. The analog sticks, d-pads, paddles, etc are all great. The paddles are smaller and this leads to a better feel and less accidental hits... EXCEPT when switching the trigger ‘pull’ switch from its lowest (closest to paddles) setting. I’ll get used to it. The analog stick tension customization is cool, though I wish a tool wasn’t needed, but I get it. Kind of. The profile switcher is to my liking, as is the USB-C input so I’m not constantly flipping it back and forth to get it to fit the port (first world problems). The included dock is a nice touch and has magnets for proper seating. I love magnets... The case is nice and the port is cool, I guess. If you aren’t going to customize the controller via the Xbox accessories app (or whatever they call it), then this controller isn’t for you. Hope this helps someone out there!

The ultimate upgrade for my Alienware R16 setup
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best controller on the market, period. I use this for almost all my gaming on my Alienware R16 and the build quality is night and day compared to a standard controller. The adjustable-tension sticks and paddles make a huge difference in feel and precision. If you’re serious about gaming on a PC or console, it’s worth every penny.

Great controller get a warranty.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this controller. It looks and feels like a quality piece of kit. Sadly as good as it is I find it breaks often. Definitely recommend getting a replacement warranty on this controller. I expect a controller to fail eventually but this thing always has a failure within a year. I’m by no means hard on my controller either I in fact take great care of my stuff. For nearly $200 I’d like this thing to not have a back button that fails to register after 6 months of use. I still rate it high because it is arguably one of the best controllers ever made but it seems they cheaped out on some components.
