The Elite 2 controller is good, but flaws remain.
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Elite 2 controller be the greatest XBox controller ever, but it suffers from the same flaws and weaknesses as it predecessor. The sticks mechanisms break down to wear and tear gaming within six months of use. Eventually the push down click on the stick intermittently stops functioning and you're screwed if the click is a vital action in a game, like sprinting or running. Creep is starting to rear it's ugly head in the same stick. And just this week one of the bumpers began intermittently stopping function or it's sticking. All of these issues should've been corrected with the Elite 2. But instead of upgrading the quality and durability of what really matters most they put more R&D into the exterior cosmetics, which I like. It's actually feels really good in your hands. I LIKE IT, but I want to love the Elite 2. It's just not what a Gen 2 premium controller that demands $30 over Gen 1, but doesn't deliver in the wear and tear department. Will I buy another, of course. And this time I'll buy the freakin' insurance. It was a Gen 2, I thought I would be better.

Great controller but always get a warranty
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good controller with good external build quality and feel. Always get the warranty as this controller is known to have issues with stick drift or buttons getting stuck. Great while it works!

Hands down a great controller!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the original Elite Series 2 controller so I didn’t need the extra accessories for this controller. The white on black color scheme looks so dope. The cheaper price is also a plus if you don’t mind not having the paddles and thin sticks! Great controller!

Great deal for superior grips
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked this up a replacement for my last elite pro which I bough about 5 years Earlier. Saved myself the money on having an extra case as the extra paddles and knobs work on the new controller.

Best remote I ever used
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.History of remotes I've used: Razor wolverine ultimate Razor wolverine Xbox elite 1 Various standard xbox remotes The Elite 2 far surpasses all of these remote with its customizable triggers and analog sticks. The new and improved paddles on the back make for better ergonomic handling while they are attached. The improved bumpers are a great step up from the elite 1 which I have broke in more than one occasion just from wear n tear. Buy and enjoy!

Love it!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love the elite series 2 controller. The only thing I can say is, GET THE WARRANTY!!! I highly recommend it, these things do break. We use them alot and even though they should last longer, they do not. The bumpers start going on them, joy sticks drift alot, mine drifts out of the box lol. Just get the warranty and u will love your controller, if you don't you will be out 180 bucks sooner than you would like.

Not Elite at all
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lower quality than the standard controller. Known issue with the RB/LB buttons and the joystick will drift. The buttons will slowly require more and more force to push until they become completely unresponsive. The joystick has a tendency to move the opposite direction when it rebounds if you let it go. For example, pushing far to the left and let it go, it will bounce to the right. There is an active lawsuit against Microsoft. In response, Microsoft has extended the warranty from 90 days to 1 year. This was also an issue on the previous generation of this controller. The extra warranty does me no good 13 months after I bought this. The nice part is the rechargeable battery. The customization of the joysticks and such is ok but not a major feature to me. The ability to have multiple profile settings is very useful.

Nice quality
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this controller to play on my pc because I’m no use to play on keyboard. I would say this controller is a much better than the Scuf controller on quality. I have been using this controller and both thumbs switch hasn’t tear like the scuff. One cons is that price/value have to be lower down a little. After all I’m amazed playing on pc with this controller.

Good controller but overpriced
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the Series 1 and it was definitely showing wear and tear so I decided to upgrade to the Series 2. I've only had this controller a month and there's already joystick drift that will cause the camera to pan in games. If I don't press the A button at just the right angle or have firm pressure, it don't register meaning when I tell my character to jump in game, nothing actually happens. This controller is about $150 too expensive to be having issues this early into ownership. $30 dollar controllers have lasted longer than the Elite 2 before seeing these types of issues. Of course I'm out of return policy at BB so I'd have to go through Microsoft for the exchange which is such a hassle. The good things include the feel of the controller and the battery but I cannot recommend this controller because it's having what I would consider significant issues for how expensive this product is.
