This is better than the first elite controller. I would recommend it because of the internal battery and the better grips on the controller

This is a great controller. Not sure if I'd say it was all that much better than the Version 1, but it does last. Personally, I preferred the Astro C40 controller for feel, use during game play and setup. However in 3 years, I went through 3 of the C40s, and my older Version 1 of this is still kickin. So if you don't feel like swapping controllers every year, and still want a controller that has the buttons on the back I'd recommend this one.

Feals great, ergonomics are fantastic and has a solid feal. Built in battery performs as specified. Usually 40 hours life on a single charge even afyer 6/8 montha of use. The RB and LB buttons are still iffy. RB button works half the time after hours of use. The A button sometimes doesn't work when pressed. If you're gonna buy this item you might as well get a warranty.

Can never go back to the original controller! Was hesitant on the price but it really makes such a big difference.

I love this controller it’s a little pricey but the quality and range is amazing.The customization is amazing too how you can get more thumbsticks for it and the D- pad I really like this controller and the white doesn’t get scuffed at all it’s really durable.

It takes a little getting used to the new bumpers but the feel of the controller is very premium. I have really enjoyed this controller.

Item works well, only wish it included the pads. It's something not clearly called out on the description.

Best controller I've ever used. 4/5 because I've had to send it back TWICE because of issues. MS is pretty quick (7ish days on average from sending back to receiving your replacement) and I cannot play on other Xbox controllers anymore, and it makes the cool PS% dual sense feel like it's just lacking features. I HIGHLY recommend you buy the 2 year replacement plan from BB. For hassle free replacements.

really quality controller - love the grips on the handle and the swappable pieces are so easy to switch. also love the internal battery rather than having to switch batteries out. You really feel the step up in quality from the base model to this one.

I love the controller as far as the way they made it and the way it feels in the hand. It has a nice premium weight to it that I appreciate. Having the four extra triggers are great I’ve had them for a few years on several controllers so I’m used to that by now but my serious problem is the drift. I’ve read a lot of nightmare reviews about people having a bad drift a few weeks after having it which made me not wanna buy it but I figured I would take a chance. I open the box paired the controller and started the new halo campaign up and instantly there was drift. And no matter what I did or what setting I put it on I cannot fix it I could slow it down a little bit but no matter what it would ruin my game every time . So the fact that I got drift from a brand new controller out of the box is absolutely unacceptable and I will be returning. It’s a shame.

Always love these controllers sadly this is my third one over time the left thumb stick seems to never recenter completely it's not that noticeable until you're playing a game that requires precision and this is also the second controller where the right bumper also messed up and sometimes doesn't work.

Excellent controller compared to the one that comes with the XBOX. I’m not a hardcore gamer and probably won’t use it to its full capabilities, but the way it feels in your hand due to the weight and the smoothness of the controls; makes it a great purchase.

Love it, i went a week without charging it. Also very comfortable.
