They got it right!

I was hesitant about getting it because of the bad drift I experienced on the 1st Gen version (on two separate controllers, too) but I am glad I did. Crisp performance and connects seamlessly with my Xbox.

The inserts are magnetic so they stay in place very well. Controls have a good feel and vibration feedback is not too much. I love this controller.

The functionality and versatility of this controller makes it one of a kind. Not only that but, the ability to be able to customize the button mapping and color codes was dope!

It’s rubber would wear off which I’m guessing may happen to this one as well. The reason I only gave 4 stars is because you can not change out the batteries on the new model. The whole controller has to be charged. I’d prefer to have a rechargeable battery pack and still be able to use normal batteries.

Well, internal reachable battery for one. Great feel on both sticks for 2 and included charger.

Also so many customizations you can do. My favorite feature is that you just recharge it with usb-c and it last for days on a single charge.

Nothing wrong with open box especially with Best Buys ratings of the pre-owned products. Customer get something they want at a cheaper price than retail. If it’s not to your liking they will still let you return the item.

These controllers are prone to random buttons failing. Get geek squad warranty. When it’s working it’s a… game changer (I’ll see myself out).
