Replacement controller, solid purchase
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this as a replacement to my Elite v1. It’s subtly different, it feels better in my hands and the grip feels better than the original. The change to USB-C is a welcome addition, and the charging dock is cool. This is the ultimate controller and it’s forward compatible to the newest console generation.

You guessed it, stick drift
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upon unboxing, this controller feels and plays great. Solid build, great response, worth the money. But inevitably, after the warranty expires, stick drift creeps in. This is my 3rd elite controller, and every one of them got stick drift around the same time. Every time I assime after years they would engineer that out of the next model, but nope, its built in. I buy a lot of mid to high level electronics with no extended warranty, and this is the ONLY product I ever recall failing, and consistently at that. Idk how this is possible. My biggest issue is the warranty is only 90 days, when the standard in any electronics is 1 year. So Microsoft know they dont last. The price on these need to come down, or better yet, extend the warranty to a year. Im tired of getting ripped off on these controllers. Ironically, the generic plastic ones always seem to last longer.

The best PC controller EVER!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller is amazing. It's so customizable and durable. The grips are truly non-slip. I play video games for hours and my hands to get sweaty, but they never slip due to the high quality material of the controller. I have used all other types of controllers for the PC and this by far is the best.

GREAT! BUT Do Not Buy without GeekSquad Protection
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While the Elite controllers are far superior to the regular ones, they are still full of wearing parts, and prone to being dropped or mistreated. We had a teen boy in the house, and had the first version of the Elite controller, and so we got the GeekSquad protection thinking we wouldn't use it, but it's not that expensive so what the heck. I can not tell you how many times the GeekSquad plan has saved the day. I think that first series controller got replaced 3 times before the series 2 came out! Now that the series 2 was released, people are discovering problems with it. SO, that's even more reason to get that GeekSquad protection on it! I think this controller is like version 2 of series 2 in the Elite controller lineup or something like that, and they may have worked out all the problems, but I think it's still better safe than sorry. So I'd say get that GS protection on it, otherwise the Elite is a waste of money as it will most likely break at some point.

Great Xbox controller
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the design. Ended up buying this one as my original Xbox elite controller was getting old although nothing wrong with it the new controller is great like that the battery is internal however curious on how long the recharge ability will be in the coming years as opposed to swappable batteries

Great controller
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great alternate purchase over the elite controller. Same functionality as the elite , minus the paddles. To be honest , i barely use the back paddles and charges just the same as any other xbox controller.

Great controller at an even better price.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great new elite colorway. Doesnt come with charging case or paddles but I found these useless on my first elite. I usually just charge it with the cord and buy colored paddles off of amazaon anyways (20$ for colored paddles)
