Probably the best Xbox One/Series X controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is probably the best controller out due to the level customization you can get and the build quality involved. The carrying case has a dual function as a charger to the controller's internal rechargeable battery (which is supposedly up to 30 hours of gameplay!). I use this mainly as a Windows PC game controller (I had sold my Xbox One due to barely any usage and who is ever going get a Series X with the high demand for current gen lol). The only downside I have on PC is having to constantly re-pair the controller after using it wired in order to have an Xbox headset to communicate to teammates via Discord. Even once it's paired and then you use wired once, it's as if the pairing is automatically outdated and the controller no longer recognizes the PC through bluetooth. For the price it's a little high, but save up on those gift cards and reward certificates!

The GOAT
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The #1 thing I've learned over the past few years and dozens of controllers purchased is this: If you're serious about aiming in FPS games on Xbox (not PC/not my wheelhouse), you must buy 1st party Xbox controllers. Microsoft uses a custom algorithm that is only running when using their controllers. So using this knowledge that leaves 3 choices: Xbox Core, Xbox Elite 2 Core, and Xbox Elite 2. If you want back buttons, you have to go Elite. I can vouch that buying the latest lot number i could find of the Elite 2 Core gave me a controller that feels much more put together than an Elite 2 i got in 2020. It should last this time.

Worth the upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So many more features than the gen 1. I find it way more comfortable to hold, it’s lighter, and the thumb sticks feel 10x better. You can also adjust how stiff the thumb sticks are. I tried the one my sister had and knew I needed the upgrade.

Great Product but QC is bad
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing controller if you get a good one out of the box. I had to go exchange it several times until I got one that wasn’t defective. Finally found one that wasn’t and it works/feels great!

Good, but you should get a warranty
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really good features but very low durability. I've had like 5 of these and you really have to take care of them.

Best controller I've ever used!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing is HEFTY! I cannot express how much better this controller is from a standard XB1 controller. The added paddles are nice, but I really haven't used them that much. There is a program that allows you to map them to your keyboard. The D-Pad is great too.

Worth the price.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent controller. Highly recommend. It goes on sale often and is worth the price. This is our second controller. We have had the other one for more than a year with no issues. It is responsive and versatile. The ability to remove the joysticks to clean is helpful, and charging the controller instead of constantly replacing batteries is a huge plus.

Overall solid controller
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s an overall solid controller. The reason for the four stars is the wear and tear. Sticks get dick drift after a year of heavy gameplay and considering the price I believe it should be at least two years for any part malfunction

Great Buy!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Play about 4 hours a day. This is the only PRO Controller that has been able to withstand my daily playing style. I have tried 3 different companies and they all break within 6 months to a year.

Get it on sale
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing just fells premium compared to other controllers. I have been using this for a while and when I picked up a normal controller, recently, I couldn't help but thinking the normal controller felt cheap.

Elite FTW
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Controller feels amazing and paddles are very nice. Only issue is the left stick. I’d suggest the protection plan if your left stick starts to break or drift. Only reason for the 4 star but best buys coverage is great.

Great functionality and feel, average durability
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great controler, good feel and functionality, have had many now and always seem to get bumper issues or stick drift just after the warranty ends.

Great controller But $$$$
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked up this $180 controller because I wanted to see if Microsoft really made it better than the first one, and I must say after having it for a week of long gaming sessions I can say this: Amazing controller but Microsoft did not need to add the extra $30 to the price tag.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a rare bone disease in my wrist and it constantly hurts... when I play xbox with the standard controller... OMG. I completely stopped playing xbox because after 15 minutes, I wanted to cut my wrist off. THIS controller is a LIFE saver... having the triggers underneath changed my world. The fact that you can swap certain pieces out is cool too. It is easy to map and connectivity has never been an issue. Before my wrist issues, I played with a standard controller and I actually play BETTER with this one... perhaps a coincidence but I LOVE this controller. I have been using the 1st generation and will continue to until it craps out... this one is a back up that I played with for a few weeks to make sure it worked.

Nice controller
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very nice controller and definitely worth a premium price, but I would wait and try to scoop it up on a sale because $200 is a little steep for an Xbox remote that isn’t a custome built one.
