No charging
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Solid controller. Crappy bumpers. But all Xbox controllers have terrible bumpers. Overall, it’s worth the price for the amazing battery in this thing. I barely have to charge it

Over priced under expectations
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Controller is very comfortable. When playing the controller somehow would select As i pressed the Y button and changing the screen view. I have been playing this same game for years with "regular" MS controller no problems. Configured the button not to be used. This was a mistake when it changed my view i could not change it back! Although very comfortable and seemingly well built will be returning the controller. Thank you for the Best buy total membership for extended returns. Very over priced for what you get. At least in my opinion.

Great and have not had stick drift
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was worried about stick drift when I first got this controller and returned it originally before deciding I would buy it again, but it's yet to happen to me and I really enjoy this controller. Ironically, Xbox has perfected and redone the design over the past couple years instead of releasing an Elite Series 3. Additionally, they purposefully made the Xbox Series X controllers small, and I think it was so people would buy the bigger Elite Series 2 controller. Because that's why I bought it, the regular Xbox Controllers and smaller and awful compared to this.

Surprisingly worth it!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.IMHO the price point on this controller is a real blocker. I would have tried one years ago at $100, maybe even $130, but near $200 for a controller is a lot to ask. That being said, thanks to not going out for a year I've saved enough money to justify this kind of opulence and I'm glad I went for it. It comes with a charging dock you can rest it on which is nice. I'm mainly a single player gamer so having 1 controller constantly charged is a big deal. I dropped the flippers on the back and swapped out joysticks. The directional pad is an improvement (and you can swap it out too if you disagree). You don't need this controller, but if you're interested and have money to burn you have my blessing.

Good Upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Battery life in it is excellent and I love how it feels. Had drift in the right stick for a while but haven't experienced it in some time. It's comfortable to use and I plan to be using it for a long time.

Xbox Elite
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I bought this controller, I wasn’t sure if it was really all it was cracked up to be especially since I’m so used to the standard Xbox one controllers but let me tell you, I will never use any other controller, it feels great in the hands, the build construction is perfect and the battery life is even better, not to mention but the case and the extras are pretty sweet!

Good improvements over the first version
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. All I can say is they improved an already great controller. Battery life is way better than the first version and I like the improved grips your palms rest on. And for those upset that you can't change the batteries, I feel its now a mute point. They have a very long a generous USB-C charging cable and the controller has no issues being used while charging (unlike some that can tend to drop the signal when this occurs). The only odd thing both a friend and I have noticed (we purchased at the same time) is that the Xbox button can be a bit off when pressing to turn on/off and other functions. It seems the click point is not as centered as the pervious version and is s bit more toward the right bottom of the circle.

Huge Upgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this to upgrade from my original Xbox One S controller. It has a very solid feel and switching between the joystick lengths is incredibly simple. The back bumpers are great for FPS games and button mapping is simple.

Controller is good, but quality could be better.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like the design and feel of the controller. The extra paddles on the bottom are very helpful on games that allow for button customization. My biggest disappointment with the controller is that some buttons become sticky over time where they fail to register in-game. Also, thumbstick drifting becomes an issue over time. I have had to replace this controller already for this issue. Paying $180 for a controller that fails only after a few months of use is VERY disappointing.
