Excellent Controller but not worth cost

The handles wore and started to separate from the rubber, so I needed a new controller. I'm not sure what was expected of this new controller, but it does pretty much the same. I do like the idea that it will be compatible with the new Xbox coming in Nov/Dec 2020. The one new feature that is great (so far) is the rechargeable batteries. I would use rechargeables in my old controller, but would have to keep swapping them out. With these, I just use the USB cord which I like a little more.

Would be nice in other colors or being able to swap out the faceplate, etc. Also, when storing the included USB charging cable in the case along with the controller itself it is advised to remove the sticks so that the cable doesn't potentially cause damage.

The programmable 4 back paddles are a game changer. Takes awhile to program for different games and profiles but it’s worth it. Only for experienced gamers!- if you’re a newb concentrate on learning how to play first because this will confuse tf out of you but long time gamers don’t read anymore BUY NOW!!

I've had it for a little over a year and the buttons are already going to crap. It gets a three because when it works it's great. However, I wouldn't recommend this controller to anyone.

XBox Elite Controller Series 2

I took a star off be cause the controller is coated in a tacky substance so that it’s a little less slippery than a normal Xbox controller would be. I personally don’t love the feeling of it, and it has a bit of a weird smell to it.
