Best and worst controller on the market.
|Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is by far the best and worst controller on the market. It's comfortable in the hand, the paddle position is top-tier, and it feels like a quality controller. Not to mention, I physically cannot switch to a different controller after using all the features this offers. The only downside is that the internals are mostly plastic, so stick drift and the bumpers becoming unusable are common with this controller. I've personally gone through 4 of these controllers, but I keep coming back.

Stick Drift Issue
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best in comfort. Best in Quality. Bad in overall life. Sticks tend to start drifting 1 month after use. When purchasing, make sure to grab the warranty so you can return yours when it breaks and get a replacement for free.

The build quality feels premium and solid
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Elite Series 2 Core is hands down the best controller I’ve ever owned. The build quality feels premium and solid, with a great weight in the hands. The grips are super comfortable for long gaming sessions, and the adjustable tension thumbsticks make a huge difference in precision. Battery life is excellent, and I love that it works seamlessly across my Xbox Series X, PC, and even cloud gaming. The customization options really elevate gameplay, and the overall performance is smooth and responsive. If you want a reliable, pro-level controller that takes gaming to the next level, this is it. Absolutely recommend!

Cannot map extra buttons to keyboard buttons
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are buying this controller because you want to be a pro gamer who uses can press the A, B, X, Y buttons while still using the joy sticks, then this IS the controller for you. If you are buying this controller because you like to play game pad compatible PC games or driving sim games and just want a few more buttons to map actions to, DO NOT BUY THIS CONTROLLER. You cannot remap the extra buttons to other functions not already on the controller. Pros: Build quality is top notch. Feels very solid and the customizable joy sticks and D-pad are a an amazing feature. Battery life is solid going several days without recharging with daily use. Cons: There are some firmware issues that can cause the controller not to be recognized correctly by some windows systems. This issue has been on going for years. That said, even though it doesn't get recognized correctly sometime, it still functions as a game pad all the time. The biggest issue is that the extra buttons on the back of the controller CANNOT BE REMAPPED TO OTHER KEYBOARD BUTTONS. These buttons can only be mapped to buttons already on the controller. This is a completely ridiculous software lockout that makes these buttons obsolete for my purposes. My only reason for keeping my rating as high as it is is that this controller does what it is designed to do and it does it well.

Very good controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The first thing I noticed is the ruber grips are better designed, it appears they may have fixed the issue that the series 1 controller had with the rubber grips beginning to peel off after a few months. The extra third slot for saving custom controller configurations is nice and the back pedals are now shorter which makes it feel more comfortable in your hand. With the series one controller I always had to take those paddles out if I weren't using them because they would prevent me from gripping the controller the way that felt comfortable for me. The adjustable tensioner for the thumbsticks is nice as well, and the battery does last a decent amount of time before it has to be recharged. The only downside is the fact that the battery pack is built in and cannot be removed. Overall the quality seems to be much better and it has a USB-C charging connector which is better than the old USB-B that the series 1 controller used, which you had to be very careful when connecting the cable; it could only connect one way and made it feel like if you weren't careful you might damage the connector. So far I am very pleased with my purchase.

Great Controller, but sticks still drift
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great controller. The rubberized grips feel good in your hands and it has a very well constructed, sturdy feel to it. The battery life is very long. The case and the charging cable are well built and a very nice touch. I like the fact that Microsoft gave you different sticks to swap out with convex and concave tops, depending on your particular preference, as well as one thumbstick that is taller than the others, for more precise and quicker movement. And that they are attached via magnet is very cool and works great. Then there are the underside paddles for your fingertips, which at first are difficult to get used to, but once you do, help out so much so that you dont have to lift your thumb off the right stick when crouching, interacting, reloading etc. Game changing. The only reason I dont give this controller 5 stars is because around 11 months after owning, both sticks now drift. Do yourself a favor and buy the extended warranty.

Great controller
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was looking for a good controller and Microsoft got this one right. All the options I need in a one package. Well placed buttons, good feedback, and changeable stick and button 1options. Charging is quick and lasts a long time. The case has the charger in it and makes it easy store, carry, and charge as needed. Use with a PC with both Bluetooth, and the optional dedicated connector. One for a laptop and one for a PC. Both are responsive and it's easy to change between them. A solid controller.

Great controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this controller. I Iike the weight, the paddles on the back, and the feel. I can't even play on a regular controller because they are so light to me now. It's kinda expensive for me.

feels good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I liked the elite 1, 2 and now I must say this is the best iteration yet. The differences from the 2 are very minuscule. You will have to buy the series two complete component pack if you don't already have the pieces you need from a previous elite controller otherwise your controller will be unplayable.

Premium Feel, Minor Issues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Elite Series 2 is honestly one of the best-feeling controllers I’ve used. It’s solid, comfortable, and the customization options are great — the paddles and adjustable triggers make a big difference. The battery lasts a long time too. My only real complaint is the stick drift, which showed up after a while and was disappointing for how much it costs. Still, when it’s working right, it’s easily my favorite controller.

Awesome gaming controller!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Top quality controller. Easy to change joysticks and/or paddles. Rear paddles are great when I play Call of Duty, but what I like the most is that you can adjust the grips (LF, LR) at three different positions, what it helps to shot faster. However, it is not worth it for almost 200 dls.

Good controller. Little expensive for what it is
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great feeling controller . More customizable than the previous gen. Decent weight and less finicky. A bit pricy for what you’re actually paying for but still decent. It doesn’t have the same level of innovation as the basic PS5 controller such as gyroscopes but it feels great in hand.

I love the controller. Has a couple flaws though
|Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Problems: buttons (LB AND RB) start to work less over time, causing presses to not register. Some minor issues with the rubberized material peeling at the seem after a while. Too expensive to be having this problem at $180 pros: great controller with amazing customization. love the paddles too. it is great to hold and aiming with them is pretty much a breeze. I also love the adjustable triggers, and the case it comes with that can charge the thing.

Pro Series 2 Controller Xbox
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It works good when brand new, within a few month of gameplay. Either the left or the right thumbsticks get stick drift. Then I have to get it exchanged l. BestBuy makes it easy to exchange broken warrantied items with their yearly renewable total protection plan as well.

Awesome Controller!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Instantly you feel the qaulity of this controller! The response on this compared to the regular ones is insane! I noticed just playing NHL22 the response.. Great options as you can have 3 profiles and then the default one. The triggers are awesome! You can customize your sensitivity and comes with a carry case as it should for $180 which is the only CON about this as no controller should cost that.. Now i always wanted this but never wanted to spend the money but the wifey got this as an Xmas gift :) So if you have the money to spend go for it... now probably get the 2 year warranty next week as she didn't buy it but based off my experience on regular controllers might just do so since this is a high end controller...Impressive upgrade from the last one! This is def a GAME CHANGER!!! 40hours of battery life Customized Options INSTANTLY notice the response & quality Easy to swap out buttons Wireless charger Also can charge in carrying case with USB

Pros don't outweigh the Cons of this controller.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this controller while it was on sale, which, sadly to say would be the only time I'd buy one. Within two months of owning it, the left analog stick developed drift, essentially overnight. It became so bad that I couldn't set the controller down without a character walking in a random direction, or a movie/show skipping forward. I store the controller in it's case, and cleaned it regularly. I had to have this controller replaced five times within it's 1-year warranty from MS and each one failed in almost the exact same way. There are other instances where buttons don't register and/or take multiple presses to execute the action on screen, or to pause a movie. Cons aside, the controller does have a few pros(weight, paddles, overall feel/comfort) but honestly none of these outweigh the cost and very clear QC issues that plague these controllers, buy at your own risk.

The price is a bit high
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While the Microsoft Elite Series 2 Wireless Controller is an exceptional gaming accessory, there is one aspect that could be improved upon. The controller's premium price point may be a deterrent for some gamers. The higher cost may limit its accessibility to a wider audience, especially those on a tight budget. However, considering the remarkable features and customization options it offers, the Elite Series 2 controller can still be seen as a worthwhile investment for serious gamers who prioritize performance and personalization. Ultimately, while the price may be a drawback for some, the overall quality and features of the controller make it a compelling choice for dedicated gamers.

Great controller
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Controller is very nice to use and you wont want to go back to a normal xbox controller after but wear and tear can hit it pretty hard. Bumpers fail often, stick drift is decently frequent, and I've even had an A button stop working. Protection plan is almost a must, but it has been one of my favorite controllers.
