I didn’t like this very much, sound quality wasn’t good enough for me. And not very comfortable

Can't tell you if it's the product or my child's treatment of it, but now I have to go buy another one. Ughh

I bought these so I would not wake up anyone in my house playing games when they are sleeping or if they simply do not want to hear me playing games. The sound is clear and does have a nice depth to it considering the price. I consider myself an audiophile and feel I do not lose much from the games I play while wearing this headset considering the price point and my amount of use. Both chat volume and game volume can be controlled independently. The headset is wired to an adapter that plugs into your controller which is included with the headset. No wires need to be run to you television or Xbox itself. The headset itself is comfortable although it is big but so are any headsets similar to this model. The microphone for chat tucks cleanly and seamlessly out of the way when not in use. I do notice the microphone picks up a lot of background noise. My ceiling fan at medium setting will cause the microphone to pick up sound causing me to transmit chat at all times when not muted. I am not sure if there is a setting through the xbox itself to control this. Besides the sensitive microphone and the bulkiness (which is again normal to headsets like these) I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a headset for their Xbox.

I can't understand all the positive reviews for this item. My son's previous headset (Turtle Beach $20) was horrible. So, I specifically bought this one because it is made by the same who makes the Xbox. I assumed that there would be no technical difficulties. In the first 3-4 weeks, great no problem/good sound. Then, out of nowhere, the trouble begins. The mic does not work. (I have updated the Xbox, the headset, done every trick on the Xbox, nothing. The sound works only in one ear. It works in both if you twist the connecting wire until you get sound, then stay perfectly still. Don't move your head or hands. I returned it, and bought the identical one WITH the extended Geeksquad warranty. Worked great for 3 weeks, then same. I now have to wait until August to have Geeksquad repair/exchange.

This product is not bad. Not too loud but good enough to comprehend what the people say when you chat.

I bought a open box and the item had a short in the cord. Probably not BB fault.

Loved the headset. Comfortable and looks great. The only complaint I have for it is that the mic gets loose after a couple of uses. The mic will stay closed and just flop out after a year of use. The mic is suppose to be firm and adjustable. If you are going to buy this Headset, get the extended warranty through Best Buy (Black Tie Protection)

My eleven year old loves these! It’s nice not heating all the game action.

It’s a nice head set for someone who has an Xbox and enjoys Xbox products.

Good enough. We break them so fast, we thought we would try lesser ones. So far so good.

For the price, I think it's an okay start but there are better options for a higher price.

This product is decent. Could be better for the price, but that is not Best Buys' fault.

The issues is this is very bridle and afraid of it breaking every time I use them.

ok so this is my kids 3rd headset, I guess luck of the draw.

This headset works but the build quality sucks. The rubbery piece on the headband tends to pop out and it's almost impossible to put it back in. The cable on it has yet to break but it's as thin as linguine.

Extended use results in very warm ears, otherwise allright for children.
