Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the excellent sound quality and comfortable design of this gaming headset. Many appreciate its affordability and compatibility with Xbox consoles, along with the convenient microphone. While some users wish for improved bass response and longer battery life, the positive feedback on sound and comfort outweighs these concerns.

    Excellent Value @ Holiday Price

On sale for Black Friday for only $34.99. We bought this headset as a holiday gift for a good friend and he was blown away. The ear cups are big and more comfortable than my Turtle Beach XO One headset. They are very comparable to XO One with the exception of the Bass Boost button. More expensive headsets are overrated. If you're not an audiophile elitist, these are an excellent value.

I'm not an audiophile and actually suffer from a good deal of hearing damage but I still have enough audio perception to judge headphones. I bought these for use with the Xbox One as I was having VOIP issues with my Turtle Beach x42 headphones and I was tired of changing batteries. To start, the headphones are not amplified and powered just by the line power. This does limit their potential but they still perform darn well and produce deafening volume. The things are admittedly ugly with their cone shaped headphones connected by a super wide strap. The integrated microphone swings plenty far enough to be to your liking and when not used stores neatly into the headband. The microphone is quite sensitive and sitting under a ceiling fan will be enough noise to start transmitting in game. Sorry guys! Speaking of game audio, the mic sounds good and game audio received through the xbox one controller sounds good, definitely better than the mono headset included with the console. These headphone use a 4 prong 3.5mm connector that is compatible with all phones and music players and the included controller audio adapter. The speakers have little bass to them. I actually find listening to bands like Linkin Park almost painful as they're almost pure treble. he foam padding is comfortable but does not seal the ears as well as the more expensive options out there. They are wired only with a 3 foot cord that is flat but I haven't heard any crackling or audio transmission through the cord, which is something I constantly experienced with the x42's. Overall opinion is if you want high fidelity audio headphones, keep saving. If you want some good gaming headphones for under $100 that can also be used for voice communication (these include the controller adapter for the XB1) then look no further.

These simply don't last long. I have had 4 pairs and each time the mic goes out. It has to do with the jack the cord plugs in to.
