I bought this for my son and after two days it stop working. We are taking it back.

Other players can hear themselves when they talk to you thru this headset.

We bought as there were no other alternatives. This is terrible.

Mic should be able to last longer considering the price payed

I bought two of these headsets for my adult daughter and son-in-law for Christmas. They both LOVE them. They say that they are very comfortable, that the sound is very good and that they are very convenient to use with the XBOX ONE system. They are extremely happy with these headsets.

After about a month or so, they just stopped working!

This headtset works fine, but it is heavy and it hurts my ears.

After less than three weeks, the mic stopped working.

I just purchased the Microsoft headest and I have mixed reviews. I've only used it briefly, and the sound quality is decent. Setup was easy, as you basically just plug in the adapter into the controller, then you have to update the firmware in your controller. The cable running from the headset to the controller is about 4' long. However, this is where I have my issue. The cable is fixed into position into the headset, it's not removable. In addition, the cable is super thin, it is the exact same as the chat headset. Now, if you are careful with your headset, you should be fine. I would just be weary of the thin cable as numerous people have broke the chat one that was included with the XBOX ONE. The adapter is $25 by itself, so for $55 you get a decent headset. It was comfortable for me. I like the mesh earcups (over fake leather like others). Microsoft really needs to step up their game though and make them completely wireless (like Sony).

First off ladies and gentlemen, out of all the years of going to Best Buy THESE headsets made me make an account so that I could tell you how great these headsets are. Long story short, I was actually going to get the Turtle Beach XO's on Black Friday but they were out so I was on my way out the door but for some reason i turned around to see what else they had and that was the best instinct ever. The sound is very good in fact better than my $200 Turtle Beaches on 360. What impressed me by Microsoft is there is an update for a controller for some reason that wow'd me lol. Very crisp sound and i'm extremely picky when it comes to sound quality and they're comfortable too around the ears. Only thing I had a concern about was that the usb cable was a little short but that's no big deal at all to me. You kind of get a free battery in a way. The XBOX One is great but when I say this headsets takes your game to a higher level I mean just that!!! Because of these I put in a 8 hour session on Advanced Warfare last night!

I bought these because I liked the idea of a microsoft made headset that included stereo sound from the game as well as chat. The market is flooded with everyone trying to make their name in the market it was interesting to see how microsoft would attack this challenge. And I have to say that they have done a great job. The audio of the headset is amazing and they are comfortable as well. The only real complaint I have is that there is no mic feedback in the headset itself. On most headsets there is a bit of feedback into the headset of your own voice as you talk so you don't talk to loud or soft. You have to remember that these cover your ears pretty well and don't leave any space to hear whats around you. So i find myself yelling when i mean to talk. But if this is all I have to complain about I can live with that. This is something that can be fixed in an update down the road.

You are getting turtle beach quality sound for a very low price!! its a great buy I would recommend this product to anyone!

An excellent price for an excellent headset. This is one of my other headsets and for the price of $60 is priceless!

I purchased these about 2 months ago and since have upgraded. However I really still enjoy the sound that these guys punch out. For under a hundred bucks these cans are a GREAT bargain. Especially for the casual gamer or someone looking to explore into headset gaming, this game will keep you on your toes. You will hear every footstep and with a virtual surround sound of the world around you, you'll be ready to wreck everyone!

Bought this for the kiddos as part of their Christmas package of an Xbox One and a few games. The headset does an outstanding job of blocking outside noise. Great low end sound. Chat mic folds up nicely. I even plugged it into my iPhone 5s and made a few calls. Works like a champ! I would recommend to friends. We just bought a second pair for my wife's Xbox One.
