At first glance, the headphones look a bit bulky and funny looking. But since they're on your head most of the time it doesn't really matter. The build quality is superb, the device feels sold, but lightweight and comfortable. The sound is really good, the device produces a nice "crack" with the highs and very soothing lows. Despite they are not designed for studio audio use, they perform better when reproducing music than game audio. I've found that the device cracks in the unpleasant way when the game gets too loud and the bass becomes to prominent. Overall, they are definitely worth trying out.

just picked these up work great you just update the controller the sound is great. great for gaming at night you wont disturb your family unless your loud haha you can hear the the game as well as movies and chat with ur friends im happy with them

I decided to give these a try when they went on sale at BestBuy for $20.00 off. For the money, they give you an adapter and a headset that works easily with both game and chat audio. They have to be some of the most comfortable headphones I've ever used and because of that, I tried to stick with them. However, the audio is severely lacking in any bass, and the treble is just a tad bit too high, with no balance. In the end, I returned them and traded up to the Turtle Beach XO Four. They're not as comfortable, but sound far, far better for only $20 more.

Love the headset, great for someone who is not looking to spend a whole lot for some extra quality. When I put these in I can't even hear the people sitting next to me which is pretty great. Also great for people who want to play but can't be very loud because the sound quality in the headset is good.

This headset has an awesome value. You get the stereo headset which is very comfortable for someone with a large wide head. You also get the stereo controller adapter, short usb cable for updating your controller and a 2.5mm headphone adapter for older headsets. My only gripe about the headset is Microsoft will be opening up their wireless protocol for the Xbox One sometime next year allowing full virtual surround sound for wireless headsets so this great headset will get replaced by an even better solution.

Lets start with the build quality, This head set is built to be used OFTEN. It's not flimsy, you can tell Microsoft did their homework. It's got a solid construction that feels good on the head and after many hours of game play has not slipped or bothered my head. It's lightweight has me wondering why my Trition headset was so heavy. Ear Cups: There big enough to encompass your ears with out being overly hot due to the use of micromesh which while soft allows for optimal air flow making them less of a strain for those of us who marathon game. Audio: Booming audio with out the "Triton HUM" or the Turtle Beach ECHO" I have used both the NEW XO 4 and XO 7 #From Turtle Beach# they still have the echo# This headset has NO draw backs I have found# It's crisp clean audio# Price: $10 Cheaper then Turtle Beach with = if not better quality with no set backs. Ease of set up: Xbox One has been called many things "Xbox One, the all in ONE Entertainment unit" and so on, this have taken that to the headset as well. It has ONE #1# Wire. I like that if I want to play a game or watch TV while my girlfriend is sleeping I can whit this headset hooked up to my Wireless controller and the thin cable that goes from the headset to the chat adapter to the controller. I have owned many, many turtle beach and Triton headsets. I am so pleased with this one that I will never switch back.

BUY IT. Really. I got this as an open box and couldn't be happier. Don't know why the first owner ever returned it! First of all: this works on phones! The headset plugs into an adapter, not straight into a controller. This also means you can use any other headset or ear buds if you like. In fact, you could use this to hook up to PC speakers and have audio anywhere! These look a little strange during wear, they're very wide. However, they're still great-looking, and I wouldn't be ashamed wearing them in public. they perform great, the mic is perfect, and it works great with a phone. I wear these for a couple-few hours at a time. After breaking them in, they don't hurt during wear, though they can be a little tight at first. Great product!!!

Picked this up as I like to wear a headset for playing games, not real big into chatting with others, but I like the surround effect and it is great for playing games and hearing what is going on all around with out having to disturb everyone else in the house. It is well worth the money, the PS4 wireless headset I have from Sony is on par, it cost more, but that is because it is truly wireless. This is the next best thing since it plugs into the controller, no worries about wires. You will have to do a controller update which takes a minute before you can use, but other than that works great. My only complaint for not giving it 1 more star is that it will drain your controller a bit faster (versus just being wireless with its own batteries).

i bout it thinking it would break in a day but it lasted me a month now and it works like it is new i would buy it if you havent.

Overall decent product, would recommend to anyone looking for a basic headset.

Was a little hesitant at first...had a few turtle beaches in the past but decided to try them out since they were a Microsoft product. There extremely comfortable with amazing sound really went way passed my expectations.

I haven't used many other headsets but this one seems great and works perfectly as described.

I never knew what i was missing but these headsets took my gaming to another level i hear everything. The headset are relatively cheap compared to what else is out there and do the job well.

I have a good soundbar, but I wanted a headset for late at night. These were perfect, they have great sound, chat is easy to work with. I have a big head and these are still comfortable. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to these. You won't be disappointed.

Nothing is better than having a stereo headset for your XboxOne! I can play with having the sound of the game go straight to the headset! Definitely recommend getting a Xbox One charging station for the controller because it drains the batteries fast!

Good sound quality but ears get really sweaty after a while.

These work great. The sound isn't complete surround sound, but it does well enough. They also feel great to wear. Nice and sturdy. Plugs into anything with a headphone jack.

The stereo surround sound of the game through this headset is great. It is comfortable and you don't have to spend a huge amount for a great set of headphones.

First time ever buying a gaming headset and I love it. This headset is comfortable, the sound quality is great, and the microphone doesn't get in the way at all. Good purchase.
