As soon as you plug it in, the wire makes a scratchy sound everytime you move the controller. Cheaply made, the little ones that comes with the xbox are better. Pay the extra $20 and get turtle beach headphones. Only got them because I got a deal, but returned them the next day.

This headset works great, for the couple weeks or so before breaking. These things are very fragile and break even when handled gently. Spend more on a better headset. You will save money in the long run, instead of constantly replacing these.

After what I would classify as "light" use by my 14 yr old son the headsets microphone broke after one month. A wirring problem it appears because the earphones still work.
