Faulty connector creates loss of sound whilst playing. Useless.

But the sound is ok for what it is wish it had a headset tho

The headphones seem to work ok. The design is bulky and sticks out to much on the sides of your head. Probably be better to spend the extra $20 and get the Turtle Beaches. But if you don't have the extra cash these are ok.

So typically I am very skeptical about buying actual branded products made by the same company that makes the system. Usually they are very cheap and honestly aren't very reliable. Microsoft has changed my mind completely. Not only is this the most comfortable gaming headset I own, but the best one I own and I've spent money when I had a PS3 to get the wireless $200.00 Trident headset. You get a lot more than what you pay for. The sound is fantastic, none of my friends complain about the mic sounding to quiet it's just about perfect. It is by far the most comfortable headset that I've had and the ear muff portion goes around your ear completely. I can wear them for 5 or 6 hours straight without being uncomfortable or complaining about them squeezing my head. Not to mention the way the next gen consoles do their sound, there isn't a hassle to hook them up to your tv to get in game sound as well. Perfect headset for the price and I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to pay over $100 for quality headsets because you don't have to. One negative is the fact that it drains your controller battery. But on the other hand I may be getting a little picky because I only had to charge my controller twice in the last 8 days. If you're looking into this headset it is definitely worth the money and you'll be more than satisfied.

Good quality headset if you get it on sale it's a good buy!

I get it... gaming headphones don't last... I have 3 boys and have bought SEVERAL sets over the years. These ones were the shortest lasting of all the different ones I have bought. No obvious signs of breakage... but mic cuts in and out. They were pretty inexpensive, so sound quality was OK for the price... you get what you pay for. But I expected more from Microsoft

They seem to work great. Had no complaints from my teenager.
