alirght. i bought this around december to january. the first month, it was fine. until the left bumper stopped working. around mid to early june, sometimes the Left bumper just stopped working and i had to press it a couple times until it could start working like normal. to make a long story short, a couple days later the left bumper just stopped working! i was so annoyed but since we were out of the country i couldnt return it. when i got home, i just decided to take matters in my own hands. i used one of the buttons in the button as my left bumper and i was fine with it until now. for some reason, the right bumper also is doing the same thing. it sometimes works but sometimes doesnt. (i play 2 main games, fifa 21 and apex legends, so i know if my LB and RB works because both buttons are very important on those games. on fifa if you press RB twice you push the ball foward and you run for it. well, now i cant even do that because sometimes RB doesnt work. its very annoying but other than that the controller is really good. i loved it but because of these problems i had to give it a low review.

For a pro controller was kinda disappointed. Started getting early stick drift and the face button became sticky eventually meaning that if I press it wouldn’t rebound fast …..

Best Buy’s “Geek squad” sell broken controllers.

I received a refurbished Xbox elite series 2 controller for Christmas, I was absolutely over the moon about it. Then the next day all the flaws were revealed. The controller and case were FILTHY, which what looked like dandruff and skin cells coated the inside and the controller itself. Then I noticed that the controller’s left bumper button only works like a 1/4 of the time. Not to mention, one of the back paddles they included didn’t work in the least amount. Overall, don’t buy this refurbished controller, instead buy an elite series two core controller and spend maybe $15-20 on the accessories. Goon squad, you failed to clean and catch these very large issues. Would give 0/5 if I could.

    Broken left thumbstick

Paid nearly $150 just for the controller to arrive broken. Controller and its pieces looked as if they were just thrown into the box without care. The left thumbstick would'nt click down and the controller was dirty. Worries me that Best Buy/Geek squad don't actually look over returns and send out broken controllers claiming that they are refurbished. Went to the store to return it and was never apologised to for the inconvenience. Ended up ordering another one so let's see how this next one goes.

    Great, When It Works

I’ve had to replace over 10 of these controllers due to quality control issues. Geek Squad Replacement Plan is essential with this product. When it works, its great, but be prepared for stick drift, dropped inputs, grip peeling, and disconnects ~6 months into the controller’s lifespan.

I ordered it and it had problems with the side grip coming off it hurt to hold. Took it in to a best buy they said "No problem we will even replace it with a brand new one" I get it the buttons all are sticky and the dpad sings when you press it. Not worth the savings just buy a new one.

The controller out of the box immediately had stick drift. After a couple of months, it feels like it's about to fall apart.

I bought 1 with the warranty replaced it 3 times and the Dumb Sticks end up messing up after just 1 month. The series 1 was so much better I ended up buying a refurbished series one Xbox elite controller and just works fine. Do not buy this money will be wasted.
