Latest gen controller great, but no IOS for a bit

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.New controllers are very good.... only issue is the newest gen (like this) do not connect via bluetooth to IOS devices. There are issues they are still working out with the app. A few more weeks/months and it will be resolved, but it's slow going. This is, unfortunately, why I purchased this one, but otherwise they continue to make improvements and make a great controller.

We're glad that you like your new Xbox wireless controller, but sorry that it isn't iOS-compatible quite yet. As you mention, Apple and Microsoft are working together to bring compatibility to iOS devices in a future update. Thank you for your patience; we hope you will have a lot of fun with it.

Operation is identical to prior model controller, but sometimes there is a slight lag that self corrects.

Needed another X/S controller

Bought it for my son for an additional X/S controller for his Series S controller. Like the fact you can buy different colors to differentiate between the other controllers.

Got it as a second controller to play with someone else or have it as a backup. Comes with 2 double aa batteries. So have more in hand just in case. Feels very comfortable.
