It connects up to Bluetooth right away. Make sure to get a USB Type C cable for it because it needs a firmware update right out of the box. I like the added textures on the grips and triggers. I've had a problem in a couple of PC games where it would only recognize it as a Bluetooth LE Input, but games optimized for Xbox Series X that are also available on PC recognize it just fine.

The bluetooth option is a clear advantage when compared to the previous generation. My only critique is the periodic stick drift, but that doesn't happen often.

Once the update was completed it worked flawlessly. It was easy to adjust and smooth function. Would recommend this controller for all of the current Xbox system.
