Plus the texture on the back feels good as well during high octane games and during general controller usage

Better in almost every way!

Only downside for me is the texture of the grip on the back, but this is a minor downgrade compared to the major upgrades.

"Clickiness" is also much improved. Considering that it only $10 than the base model, the shimmering color is worth it alone, and the grips make it just a bit better. Pairs seamlessly and efficiently between my phone and PC on a whim. Great Product!

Not a major change, but continues to be a solid and near indestructible device. Though one would think after all these year of no significant changes, that they could have been able to get the price per unit down a bit.

These days, the Xbox Series X/S OEM controller is the defacto standard for both Xbox and PC gaming, and with good reason. The ergonomics are perfect, and they can pair with both a console and a Bluetooth device. I bought this one specifically to use with my VR headset now that MS has released a Game pass app for it, allowing me to stream and play while in VR. Plus, it's handy to have a third controller that is just like the other two I have, because nobody wants the janky knock-off.
