Share button is more annoying than useful, but it's a definite upgrade from the old controller. If you don't care for the share button or textured grip, don't bother upgrading.

But, I got it to play Fallout: New Vegas on my gaming computer, and it works great when plugged in. No complaints, except that learning the button mapping is a little bit of a struggle for this Playstation person!

Great responsiveness, solid build, battery isn't an issue due to our using rechargeable batteries, which last a very long time. Bluetooth allows for it to be used with stream gaming on a mobile phone, tablet etc... It is a high quality product, and I highly recommend it.
