Microsoft Office was easy to install and share with my family.

Needed this and couldn't of gotten it in a better way with easy instructions

No issues with installation. Not a big fan of the overall program, but my wife needs it for her employment.

It has all the graphics an advertising agent needs to do her work. It is easy to use and easy to remember.

Applications work as expected with the usual adjustment to updated applications. Not a fan of windows 8.1 so adjustment is taking longer.

When you setup OneDrive on Mac, it encourages you to turn on syncing of your Desktop and Document folders. PROCEED WITH EXTREME CAUTION. About a month or two ago, syncing/backing up broke on the Mac. It is a SEVERE software issue that Microsoft is not taking serious or moving towards a solution on. If you go to One Drive on the menu bar (top of screen) on your Mac, it shows everything is fine and up-to-date. If you try to access your One Drive folder locally, you’ll see a “OneDrive encountered an unexpected error. Items may be out of date” banner across the top of the window. NONE OF YOUR FILES ARE PRESENT. Files cannot be accessed by apps either. Meaning if you have previously stored documents, spreadsheets etc. in the Documents folder, you cannot access them even by opening an app first then trying the File > Open option. The ONLY way you can access your files is online thru the One Drive website. I currently have DECADES worth of files that Microsoft is holding hostage and the only way I can get to them is to go thru a browser and download them one-by-one, on demand. Mind you, you’re paying for this service! On Microsoft’s website they go between acknowledging this as an issue but saying their teams are working on it with no ETA or update in months -or- slamming you for being a Mac user and expecting a working experience on a non-Microsoft platform — although they gladly promote the idea that Office/One Drive is compatible with Mac. A follow-up problem I am now facing is that trying to download these folders in bulk versus downloading each file individually is downloading a zip file and apparently Microsoft uses a zip app (Zip64) that has known compatibility issues with Mac and will produce a corrupt zip file. On Microsoft Community there’s plenty of posts saying any .zip file larger than 4GB is not going to work without a third party app (which on work devices you can’t install third party apps due to device restrictions and security protocols). This is a completely unacceptable and garbage experience and if you don’t want to serve Mac users with the same experience as your Windows customers (after all, we pay THE SAME PRICE) the solution is simple: REMOVE MAC COMPATIBILITY FROM ALL YOUR MARKETING. After our subscription is up, we will be discontinuing usage of all Microsoft products across our fleets.
