Buy MS 365 *AFTER* NOT DURING computer purchase!!!

It's not clear when clicking on the pre-installed 365 app how or where I should enter the product key, and the Microsoft website sent me round in circles before I figured it out. I don't necessarily think this is Best Buy's fault, and having to buy Office on a yearly subscription is nothing but a nakedly venal shakedown anyway, but since I have to have it I realize it would have been a lot easier if I'd just purchased it off the web after I unboxed the computer. The $10 off just isn't worth it.
