Great Tools and Features

The entire Microsoft suite is there, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Publisher. There are new features, such as customizations to ribbons, new templates to use and a sleeker design. The bonus to this is, you may back up your files with the included 1TB of cloud storage so that you can open your work, on the go, on any device. As long as you can log in to your Microsoft account from any computer with internet, you can download the file and continue working on a different PC, or you can work on the file directly online. Again, this is a very nice feature because it eliminates the use of a flash drive. The one issue that I feel Microsoft missed with 365 is the use of the annual subscription. Once you purchase the 365 pack, you need to renew your subscription, again, the following year of your purchase date. This to me is the worst decision Microsoft made. Yes, all of that cloud storage and access you have on-the-go is terrific, but it is quite costly. Especially if you have to renew your subscription each year. Yes, in order for you to continue using the Microsoft suite to edit files, you need to renew your subscription. You definitely keep your files, and you can open them. However, do not expect to reopen and work on your files after the subscription ends after one-year unless you plan to renew. Overall, the suite is still functional and the features and options are wonderful. However, where Microsoft failed is having people pay every year to use their software, which to me is the worst decision Microsoft made.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.1) They didn't sell me the right one. 2) Exchanging was a nightmare. 3) tried to activate it, and didn't work....across 3 cards. 4) didn't work with my Windows (Vista). 5) tried to upgrade, but above 7 wouldn't work with my computer. 6) and they didn't sell Windows 7. It's still sitting on my desk and I'm switching to Mac.

Best buy was useless at helping figure out my issue. The bestbuy AI chat bot is less than worthless.

The key code did not work

We got this in place of the other office 354 that didn’t work and when we scratched it to install it the key code was illegible to read. So we had to work with Best Buy to get it resolved again. I don’t know what’s going on with Best Buy and these office 365 issues but it’s an ongoing problem

Microsoft has eliminated older versions of Office

Microsoft has demanded you purchase new formats of Office by creating new versions of Microsoft that are not compatible. I was informed by the salesman that my 97 would no longer work and now we have to purchase the new ones. Kindof like Chevy telling you that your car is going to stop working tomorrow and now you have to come in and buy a new one from them. Nothing but a money grab.
