Posted .Hi Nate,
What you're reporting shouldn't be the case. When you have more than one Office license, the time between the two versions of the software stacks and extends your time with the latest version of the software you purchased.

Now I rent instead of own, not a good deal.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of all I resent the fact that I have to rent this product and can't buy it. My other problem is that I haven't been able to figure out how to save a document from my p.c. To my IPAD in Excel. I mailed it to myself but I was unable to convert it....I should have stuck with Apple's software, I won't be renewing it.

Product Key Is Invalid
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Store is either selling bogus product keys or employees don't know how to activate. When I try to use the product key it stats "Sorry, it looks like this product key has not been activated by the seller." When I try to redeem it through Microsoft, it also states the key is invalid. I needed it setup today and don't have time to go back to the store to try and have them activate it.

Never activated it, and it expired!!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it, and didn't activate it because I was waiting on a new getting computer, when I finally went to activated. it had expired! I never knew that it would expire without it being activated!!! Will not recommend, unless you are ready to activate all 6 things at the moment, because you lose it, without even activating once!

Unable to upload
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I took this product home, tried to upload the card but it was not letting me select English language as my primary, rather was showing Arabic, Chinese and other not known to me. I called best buy and was asked to bring it in the card and the desk top for assistance, only to be told that I have to pay extra $40 dollar to be assisted. I ended up returning the product.

Dissapointed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ordered three computers and a printer for my new business and also was encouraged to add on office 365 for an additional $60 not realizing that the tech I hired to set up my computers installed it as part of his service. When I tried to return the unused product they would not take it back so I'm out the $60, not only that but the sales person was extremely rude.

Resistance Is Futile, Go With The Subscription!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using MS Office programs since Word 1.0 (and WordStar before that) and I have always owned my software and have been resisting the subscription service model for the longest time. Fortunately I went back for a Master's and taught for years so I could always get the education edition but now I can't. That being said, I have finally come around to the benefits of the Office 365 subscription. Microsoft has added on a bunch of benefits in addition to their dominant Office suite (sorry, the free stuff just doesn't cover it). The online storage and now the multiple accounts with multiple installs across platforms makes this a no-brainer. I would upgrade my software usually every other major revision and when I broke down the price it ended up being either the same as the subscription (at least early on) but now would actually be more expensive. More so if you include all the new benefits that the legacy suites didn't have. That, and always having the latest and greatest version is also very nice. There are still some software subscription packages that I think are still a rip-off but I no longer think the Office suite is one of them. You get a phenomenal amount of value out of all the programs and online storage. It is just my wife and I and I consider it a great value, if you have a few kids as well, this is an even better deal. Resistance is futile, but now I don't even want to resist. Microsoft made the deal so good, I'm running for it.

Very poor support from Microsoft
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have not been able to load it on my smart phone. When I called Microsoft for assistance, I was on the phone for nearly 2 hours, shifted from location to location, and the problem was never solved. Perhaps this would be a decent product if Microsoft would support it with people who could actually solve problems.

The Best Way to ‘Own’ Office, If You Really Use It
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Office 365 gets you every application that is available in the Office suite for up to 6 people and each of them gets 1TB of OneDrive storage. The cloud storage alone almost justifies the price. You also get the mobile apps as well. That being said, being on the subscription plan means you only get it as long as you’re paying for it. For someone who just needs Office for very basic or infrequent tasks it’s probably not worth it, but for everyone else this is the best way to get Office. Chances are if you’re looking at Office you already know why you need it. The core applications that have been there for years are all here; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher, and Access. They’re all the best they’ve ever been and Microsoft has done a really good job of gradually improving them over the years with some really thoughtful new features. Some of the more recent menu changes can be a little confusing at first if you haven’t used Office in a while, but I adapted to them quickly. You’re also getting OneNote, which has been my favorite Office application ever since it first came out (and happens to be the one you can get for free). There are a few little niche apps that are available, but not installed by default. Sway is really interesting and I haven’t used it much yet, but it feels like a more personal take on something like a presentation or even a vacation album; something you might use with your friend and family instead of a meeting in the conference room. There’s also a to-do list app and a pretty decent mobile scanner app. Office 365 integrates into Windows 10 really well. It’s optimized for touch and mouse input, though I will always feel most productive using a mouse and keyboard. The look and layout feel clean and organized and it’s consistent across applications. There’s a lot of features packed into each application, but the ones I need the most are always easy to find. Saving files to OneDrive also has the advantage of letting you autosave and share like Google Docs and it feels just as seamless. I’ve been a Microsoft Office user for a long time, so there’s probably a little bit of bias here, but Office 365 feels like peak Office. I don’t love having to pay a yearly fee for it; it feels like everything’s turning into a subscription these days, but I do feel like Office is better off for it. You can still buy Office without paying the subscription, but it costs more up front and you’re missing out on the best it has to offer buying it that way. The cynic in mean knows Microsoft is probably doing that on purpose, but it’s hard to ignore the value.

Bought this instead of renewing through Microsoft
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Horrible! Could not get the new code to work and BB would not give me a new code. Microsoft took over an hour and it seemed to work but would revert back to saying code was already redeemed.... wouldn’t work on any of my computers although it showed I’m my account info after logging in to Microsoft.

Posted .Hi Chuck,
If you are seeing it in you Microsoft Account then you should be able to initiate the installation from there. That means that it was already redeemed to your account, so you don't need the activation key for future installations. Just follow the instructions to reinstall Office in our help page here: https://aka.ms/AA4rq32.
Hope that helps,

Not Happy with Subscription Model
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Office 360 with my new computer, but I think I am going to return it. I do not like the idea of having to pay every year or spend over $200 for a program that will not be supported after this year. I downloaded Open Office and have been learning how to use it-not much different. I have not installed Office so I think I will probably return it.
