This is the same MS Office we've all used for decades, but since everything is going to the SaaS model (why buy once when you can pay every month!), why not Office too? At least MS has a new licensing arrangement where you can share your subscription with up to 5 other people that you know for one price. That makes the $100/year cost a little more reasonable, since every person will get their own account and storage space. Perfect for a family or group of friends and brings the effective cost down to $17/year (Assuming you need/use all 5 sharing spots). If you have no need to share and have access to a qualified .edu email address, I would recommend you look into the Office 365 University license instead; it's only $100 for four years.

I recently spoke with a sales representative from Best Buy regarding the purchase of Microsoft 365. Unfortunately, I feel that I was misled during this conversation. The representative did not inform me that it was possible to purchase a perpetual version of Microsoft 365 at nearly the same price as the annual subscription. Instead, he told me that only a 12-month option was available. I placed my trust in the sales representative because of Best Buy's reputation, not because of the individual who answered my call. As a senior citizen living on a Social Security paycheck, it would be much more beneficial for me to make a one-time purchase of Microsoft 365 rather than paying $120 every year for a subscription. It is disappointing and concerning that a respected company like Best Buy employs representatives whom customers cannot trust. This experience has left me questioning the reliability of the sales staff and the information they provide.

This is a good deal for family of 6. Going forward we will continue with this subscription.

Just another subscription we need to manage. But if you need Word or excel, it is the only way to do it now.

Easy to install. Used for the office easy to manage

The product was easy to find. From years of being used to utilizing CD disks to install software, I was a little leary of going to work with a digitized software download. It turned out okay but mow I have to figure out how to get the software to our other devices from my computer but am hoping it is not a difficult task. Overall a Good experience so far.

The best part of the family subscription is how easily you can add it to your other devices. Its a simple code to put in and you have access on whichever device you choose (up to 6). It is an annual subscription, so you have to continue to pay for it each year. That is the downside. It would be nice to have it a little less expensive, but it works fine.

Continues to be a strong group of programs however, I’d like to see some improvements and versatility. Over the years it’s been pretty much the same, again just looking to see some upgrades so to speak.

Renewed for second time. Great price at BestBuy and great product with ability of multi users for 1 price.

Most people have used Microsoft Office for years, not much has changed, but it is now much easier to manage multiple computers and users under one account, that part is the part that is nice. Also it is nice that you get 1Tb of cloud storage with the subscription. This package is great if you have several computers in the house and they all need office on them. Otherwise its the same great office applications that you are use to using so no learning vastly different ways of working on things.

Microsoft 365 is good. I use it on my laptop, iPad, and phone. I can use it were ever I go. My documents are there with me.

Since retirement i don't use my pc k6ch but for games and Facebook. I like this product and will renew next year

I have had Office 365 home addition for one year now. Everything was great till time for renewal. Renewed one week before due date, then a week later I went into my word program and was met with a message saying my subscription has expired. I have spent four hours countless passing around on the phone with Microsoft, two tiers of techs that log into your computer. Long story made short, was told it was a Microsoft server problem and not to worry, I would receive a phone call or email when it got fixed. It's been almost a week later, and still no answer. In the mean time, I cannot open any of my word documents. Plan to get my money back on the 365 subscription, and buy the software with the disk.

I use Excel and Word often, but office 365 limits some features, for example in excel there are options or formatting things you can do on the purchased disk Office desktop version (original office) that you can’t do on the mobile office 365 version. I use excel daily, and it is the little things like that the bug me. Also, if you buy the “family” version, this says you can share it with 5 other family members for a total of 6 users however it can only be used on 5 devices. I have 3 separate devices i use it on, my iphone, ipad and mac, my wife uses it on her macbook. So if i were to share it with my other family members they would all have to share one device. It should be atleast 6 devices, one per person, or a couple of devices per person. Just sayin…

I find the Microsoft 365 subscription confusing. Best Buy has been okay.
