It works ans adds convenience to the controllers .

After changing batteries twice in one week I decided to get the Charge Kit. Do not regret. The battery life is great and the cable is long enough to not be an issue charging while playing. Definitely recommend.

Pros : never buy replacement batteries again, no more dealing with rechargeable batteries, and just plug into system via included 10' charging usb cable to charge pack without greatly interrupting game play

If you play xbox, you need to get this charger kit. I play all the time and the battery life on this is great Give a recharge before I go to bed, and wake up and play.

I don't like that you have to buy this separately. Other than that mine has had no issues for the two years I've owned it. I do not recommend going with any battery other than the name brand Microsoft battery. You won't regret it.

This kit is something you have to have with your Xbox if you are an everyday gamer. It beats having to constantly buy batteries and I prefer it over taking up space with a charging dock.

Since Microsoft doesn't include this with the controller, you must buy it separate, but it works great and means not buying batteries all the time.
