What can I say, it works as advertised. From what I understand, the aftermarket gear tends to die quickly, so I chose the Microsoft setup and have been extremely happy. Long battery life, long cord if want to play while charging.

The oem microsoft battery is lithium-ion and as such lasts much longer than the cheaper aftermarket options. Plus the micro usb cord is long enough to reach (in most cases) where your sitting so you can play and charge if you need to.

After having purchased the XBox One. I noticed it comes with standard AA batteries for the controller. Having gamed for several years now, and all gamers know this, regular batteries just don't cut it. Rechargeable batteries are a must have. I would recommend getting this in addition to your XBox one purchase and save yourself an additional trip back to the store.

I heard a horror story about an off brand item. This one is definitely worn the extra five bucks. The charge lasts longer than regular batteries by a long shot. I barely have to recharge the battery and when I do they're good for weeks.

No complaints in charging. Takes about 5-6 hours to charge fully when it's completely empty. On an average game play of 6 hours a day... this last for several days before it run dries and needs to be recharged

It is easy to hook up. I like that I can continue to play as it charges.

Xbox controllers go through batteries like crazy. With the play and charge kit, you get a long use cable to charge while you play and the controller lasts a long time unplugged! Perfect to save money on AA batteries all the time!

Must have accessory. You can play and charge when the battery is low since the cable is 10ft long. Battery life is great and can play for a long time before charging. No need for extra batteries. I think it is a must have accessory.

It is tough to not go with the equipment that is designed and specified for your equipment. The product fits the Elite controller perfectly and charges as desired. after trying aftermarket product I am back to always using OEM.

Works really well. My kids are happy and that makes me happy. Haven't heard about AA batteries since we brought this home. A must have for gamers-- why go all in on a big system and skimp on a product that will make your life easier?

Stop buying and wasting money on disposable batteries. Put this in your controller and just charge it up every couple days. If it is low on power while playing, it comes with a 20ft charging cable that lets you plug and play.

...battery life saver. I felt like I was changing batteries every other day, but now this last hours between charges and the long cable, for recharging, keeps you playing while charging! (I wrote "charge" a lot in that sentence)

Still find it funny that Microsoft is using AA batteries to power their controllers, the charge and play is definitely worth it, and will pay for its self in a years time.

The plug and play recharging kit for the xbox one is super convenient, easy to use and very reliable. Have one for both controllers so my son and his friends never have a problem when they go to play and we don't use any batteries.

Batteries aren't cheap and if you are doing any significant gaming, then you'll be going through them fast. This will save you money in the longhaul for sure. I do like how Microsoft allows us to change the battery since it adds to the life of the unit. As always, the battery pack could be a bit cheaper given the initial cost of the controller alone.

Love it, I'm just glad not to have to continue to replace batteries every other week. This works great and stays charged for a long time. When it's low I simply plug it in and continue gaming, very pleased with my purchase.

If you hate changing the batteries all the time on your controller then purchase this play and charge kit immediately! This will save you money in the long run and you wont have to buy AA batteries for your controller ever again!

Let's face it, $20 is not a lot to spend when you look at the price of replacing two AA batteries every couple days for the lifespan of your console. These batteries are great and seem to last forever. An absolute must have!

I love the play and charge kit. I leave my controller plugged in all of the time to maintain a consistent connection while destroying enemies and such. The play and charge kit gets it done. Great product.

I bought this when i got my XBOX One and havent thought twice about it...i play a couple hours 3-4 nights a week and feel like i go a couple weeks before i realize i should charge and even then i plug in and keep on playing...
