Awesome Re-Charge

There is a light on the cord that tells you when the cord is charging and when the battery is fully charged. Will definitely buy another one when this set will not hold a charge. I looked into other cord/chargers and many non-Microsoft brands had other reviewers stating that the batteries didn't hold a charge after a few months or that the batteries melted. Don't go third party brands. Just get this Microsoft set.
