I never have to open the case, I never have to worry about running out of batteries or not being able to find my rechargable batteries, I just plug it in. Super easy and charge lasts a long time.

Made specifically for XBox One Controllers where can you go wrong? For $25 it saves you money on batteries in the end and allows you to play your games all while charging the battery pack.

I bought this to work with my elite controller. per the Microsoft this is compatible with elite controller. Its either this or the charging stand that is out of stock just about everywhere.

It works like it should. Doesn't take long to charge and saves you from buying hella regular batteries! It last for like 3 weeks for me on a full charge and i play a couple of hours everyday.

Had previously bought a off brand battery pack figuring can't be a difference, I was wrong spend the extra few bucks you'll be glad you did.

I wanted to go as wireless as possible so I bought these for my controllers, i love being able to play my games without wires and the battery lasts a week for me usually!

The battery pack is a good option for those of you that don't want to spend money on tons of batteries and ultimately throw them away and help pollute the earth. It can be a little weird when trying to play the game as it charges, but just plug it up for a little while and you have nothing to worry about.

Great controller power alternative to having to buy batteries all the time. This should of came standard in Xbox controllers from the start.

Excellent alternative for AA batteries,last twice as long & you can play while you charge thanks to long charge cable,Xbox doesn't even have to be on to charge battery!!!! Very awesome

This battery pack fits inside the controller in the same space batteries would. It was charged out of the box. I just wish all xbox controllers just came with these.

Bought this the week after i bought the xbox one. And i have not had to buy batterys. The batterys thay came with it lasted just over that first week. Easy to instal and charge. My controler last a few days to a week on a charge depending on how much use and i use it for games, netflex and tv. So almost all the time. A side note the cord can be used to charge most smartphones. Its not as good as my fast charger but ive used it when desprate and it helped.

No more batteries! Plus, as an extra bonus, the extra long cable allows me to charge my phone while playing games (if already not plugged into the controller) I will buy more of these!

Awesome cord length, sturdy fit, lets you play as a wired controller as well. Shuts off Bluetooth when plugged in without batteries. Battery pack allows wireless gaming too. Grab one.

This is a must buy for any hardcore Xbox One gamer. Let's me continue gaming while not worrying about my controller dying on me. Has a good battery life before you need to charge it.

Between me and the three kids, we go through a lot of batteries on the Xbox, so having a few extras is really helpful. Being able to charge and play at the same time is an added bonus!

No issues. Purchased, charged it, put it in controller, and it was easy. Now when it runs dead just charged it up by plugging it in. No need to remove it from controller to charge.

I'm not sure why Microsoft doesn't just include this with the xbox like Sony does with the PS3 and PS4. Oh well. Definitely beats buying AA batteries all the time. Really a must have.

The product works very well. The battery on the controller lasts very long, and the cord is fairly long so you can sit a comfortable distance away and use the controller while it charges.

The play & charge kit is a great product for the controller. I love how fast it charges the controller and the cord is very long as well. I definitely recommend it for any Xbox user.

When I first purchased my Xbox One I purchased a third party battery with charge cable solution for $20, hoping to save the five dollars and avoid a rotating stock of AA batteries. Unfortunately after a few months of use the micro-USB cable that came with the other product frayed to the point that it no longer would charge the battery. The third party battery solution also required the use of a custom battery cover, provided with the package, which allowed the charge cable to plug directly into the battery. This solution prevented the Xbox system from being able to identify when the battery was charging. As that solution fell through I ponied up the extra few dollars and purchased the official Microsoft solution. I couldn't be happier. Every complaint I had about the third party charging solution was resolved. The cable is incredibly long and has yet to fray under the same use conditions as the previously purchased third-party cable. I have learned my lesson about third party peripherals. This is a must-have for any Xbox One owner.
