buying this was way better than a 48 pack of batteries!! so much so that I wouldn't play my Xbox until I was able to get the play and charge pack.

I love this kit. I can play for days before needing a charge. Microsoft includes a cord long enough to sit comfortably far enough to charge and play.

Just pay the extra 5 dollars and get he official battery all the non official Microsoft batteries went after a few months...this one still riding strong

The rechargeable lithium battery charges quickly with the included USB cable. The battery needs to be recharged every two weeks with routine use. I would anticipate that this improved battery will last the life of the controller with regular recharging.

So far so good. Used a little over 2 months (since Christmas) No issues to report. Chose this over the charging stands because you could play and charge at the same time. Honestly the pricing was just about the same as some of the other brands. May have paid a little more, but it's Microsoft branded for the Xbox so there's some comfort knowing there.

If you plan on doing any real playing on your xbox than get this. Holds a great charge and will save you on batteries. If anything it's a investment!

I have been using either batteries or a usb cord that wouldn't fit as good as the cord that they give you. Definitely worth it.

The wire always stays in tact with the controller as opposed to the insignia brand play and charge kit.

We tried several of the third party battery packs available but after some time they stopped holding a charge. This one does the job nicely.

Not really a luxury, more of a necessity. You can live without this product but it really does work well. Great battery life.

it beats buying batteries all the time as long as you dont over charge it. you can play hours on a full charge. so in the long run it saves money

I have had no issues with the battery so far, and, given how quickly xbox one controllers eat through batteries, it's obviously very useful. The only problem I have is that Microsoft forces you to purchase this separate from Xbox One controllers.
