While there may be other options, having the "official" xbox one battery pack was important for me for product longevity (just my personal opinion). This works great. Charges nicely, and can even play while it's being charged. Only downside is that there's no plug to USB included, but there's USB ports on the xbox / tv / etc.

Love not having to worry about running out of power mid game just plug in to the Xbox one and to controller and ur set to continue playing

If you're still using regular batteries, this is a great and convenient alternative. The cord for the play and charge is very long as well.

The battery in the kit is great and lasts multiple days before I have to plug the control up again. The controller charges very quickly.

Holds a charge relatively well, longer than my rechargeable batteries. Charging cord is long enough for me to sit comfortably on the couch.

Always handy to have just so you're not always placing your controllers on a charger. Just swap out the batteries and remain wireless!

I can play the xbox while charging the controller. Way better than buying rechargeable batteries and waiting for them to fully charge.

Nothing special about it. It does the one job that it was meant to and that's keeping your controller charged without using regular batteries. Of course, after the controller dies, you would need to recharge it. Standard procedure

The play & charge kit I purchased completely solved my problem. It saved me several packs of conventional batteries in just a few months.

We used to go through batteries non-stop and I'm glad we have this now so we don't have to buy huge packs for a while lot of money anymore. Easy to do. Unfortunately it's Microsoft making a money grab by making us buy more accessories.

This is a much needed accessory for X-box. It keeps the game going longer and doesn't interrupt a game while charging a controller.

My controller disconnects automatically sometimes or it dies every week so charge and play saves money on batteries!

The battery itself is fantastic, I myself have another battery which I have had in one of my controllers since the xbox one practically came out 6 years ago and it still holds charge to this day. The cable however, is another story. I keep having to either use other cables or purchase another cable if I want the OEM one because it always seems to break and might be faulty in this aspect. For that reason, I gave it 4 stars.

I like the charger but dont love it. Its nice to be able to play while its charging, but the cord is not quite long enough for my living room setup. Of course im about 10 feet away from my 65" tv so if youre closer than that it shouldnt be a problem. Charged battery seems to last about 15 to 20 hours. I prob would have went with the nikkon or energizer with two batteries so i could switch but i wanted to stay with microsoft products. The old 360 batteries lasted a lot longer. And i could just pop one out and add another. I think i liked that better.

If you have an XBox you know that you need to have a box with batteries around when you play. Not anymore if you buy this product.

Long charging cord allows to play from a comfortable distance. Saves money on batteries and allows you to play plugged in or charged up.

Is it open, couldn't install, and super functional. Great industrial design and super easy to use. A must for all true Xbox one gamers

I am so glad I had decided to purchase this battery.. I'm able to play my games a lot longer while the other battery is charging.
