    Maybe I got a defective unit. Battery life is good but the controller would disconnect randomly during play after a month or so. I would just be holding the controller during a load screen and it would disconnect. I've ended up plugging the controller in through the nice, lengthy cable provided more than I had anticipated. It is still cheaper than buying a new controller though.

    if you have a xbox one you need one a play in charge in order to keep playing while charging, comes with a 10 foot cable.

    I dont have many electricity plugs available so I am happy that I can use the charge kit to plug it in directly into the Xbox One.
