    It's nice not to have to use AA batteries constantly when gaming, so this item is good for that. The battery-life when you first start using the product is good, but after just 6 months it seems to drop way off, and I find myself having to charge it more and more often. This is the second time I've purchased a Play & Charge Kit, as the first one's battery got so bad I'd have to have the charging cable plugged in at all times. It would die instantly once disconnected. In essence, it works well for a while, but should really last longer for the price.
