Won't work anymore

Owned for 11 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It worked great for at least 2 years, but now it won't work unless it's plugged in, and it won't keep a charge at all. Ive tried many things to try and fix it, but it doesn't stay yellow indicating its charging. I'm thinking about trying to rebuy the battery to see if that's the issue but I don't think that will fix it. I'm now using AA's and they die quickly.
