I was always getting sick and tired of using AA batteries and having to constantly change them out. Often times, I had to leave in the middle of a game to exchange them so I just bought this. So far, so good. It's a great alternative to disposable AA batteries because it is much more convenient. When the pack dies, just plug the controller into the Xbox and you can play while charging. I keep my cord plugged into my Xbox because it's a very short travel distance when I need to charge it.

Save your batteries this is a great investment charge while you play or sleep.

This is a must have if you own an Xbox One. It replaces the need for disposable or rechargeable batteries and has a cable long enough to reach the couch. The only downside doesn't lie with the product itself but rather with the fact that Microsoft didn't just include a rechargeable battery pack and USB cable in the box with the Xbox One in the first place.

This battery fits perfectly into the controller. I hope it lasts long time.

So here's the gist. I bought two chargers. One was the open box and the other was from Best Buy proper. The kicker? The one I got from the open box works like a charm and the one I got brand new does not charge at all. I'm not sure if it was old stock or if I just have poor luck but it was a kick in the teeth. I gave it two stars because the other one worked, but this one didn't. I'm sure my local Best Buy will sort the matter out with no fuss, but if I wanted to go into Best Buy I wouldn't have bought the thing online. Very frustrated. I'm still recommending it because it was a fluke I know it. Plus it's nice to not have to change batteries every week as I'm a heavy user. Still I'm stuck with buying AAs for one of them until I drive an hour to get to my store.

These are good battery packs, but paying separately for them is outrageous. I have had great performance out of 3rd party products that didn't cost nearly as much and came with a charging stand. I have used these other packs in my controllers with differing usage rates and have not experienced any memory effects that other reviewers are so worried about.

This is an excellent way to keep gaming w/out having to go out to buy more Batteries! Buying Batteries alone will stack up each time you buy them in pack! No more having to go buy more batteries!

great item if you need to recharge your X-box one..

If you only have one controller this is a required thing. It really should come with the system. Even if you have 2 controllers its very convenient bc it gives you a long micro usb charge cord that you can use to charge your controller/phone/etc. I would prob skip if you have 2 controllers and buy a charge stand though.
