Nothing is worse during gaming than when you're controller dies. The battery holds a decent charge, but best of all you can plug it directly into the console if you're in a bind.

I've never been a big fan of using disposable batteries for my Xbox controllers so this is great. It has a long battery life and is easy to install into the controller itself.

This battery pack will save you A LOT OF MONEY!! for 20+ Dollars you going to save Hundreds of dollars in a year. It's really a smart decision buying this item rather than buying batteries every week or month. I mean it really do sucks that you have to buy batteries for the XBOX controller but this is really your best chance of saving tons of money for your controller. And the best thing about it is that it charges quickly and last so long. I only charged it for about 1 and half hours and lasted about 8-12 Hours. It is really a quality purchase and a smart investment.

Works as expected, I get solid playing time between charges. I really purchased it because of the charging cable, allows you to charge the battery while playing. I tried a battery pack that had to be docked to charge and it was incredibly inconvenient.

If you hate buying batteries all the time, get this product. Lasts hours before you have to charge and if it does run out of juice you can plug it in and play while charging.

This battery from ms is great no problems. The cable it comes with is really long so if you decide to use it for faster response time then wireless you can most other cables you would buy would be way to short and would literally have to stand next to your tv. The battery life seems to last a very long time I've had this for about a month now and I game three or more hrs a day 4 to 5 days a week and I've only had to charge it three times since I've had it just wow. My ps4 controller I've had to replace because bad battery after only two months of use and the second controller I got is already worn out ms makes really good products wished I could say the same about the sony ps4 :(

The play and charge kit is 100% worth it! I got it on sale and it is way easier than changing out batteries. All you do is plug and play! I am very satisfied with this product.

My husband got me hooked on the first xbox, back on 2008, starting with the Need for Speed series...now we own all of them, and for my birthday, he purchased the Game of Thrones......now I am hooked on that as well. I would recommend any XBOX for any age person.....

microsoft play and charge kit works as it should ,with long battery life ,easy to set up and use for the XBOX controller

The Plug & Play charge kit is so good and useful it should have come standard with the console/controllers. Simple and easy to use, just pop it into the back of your controller and play. no more need to use AA batteries and it charges via a micro USB. Thankfully the USB cable is pretty long. perfect for the living which is a nice change compared to the short cables that come with other rechargeable controllers (I use this wire to charge my PS4 controllers as well and even to power other products when I don't need it for my Xbox One controller since the length is so useful)

Excellent for the xbox one controller don't have to wory about buying batteries all the time. It is convienent - all you have to do is plug in to xbox when batterie is low for a recharge.

Compared to the Xbox 360 controller, the Xbox One controller seems to eat a lot more batteries. So, I bought a charging kit. It lasts a LOT longer than AA batteries. Basically, for Xbox 360, AA batteries always worked fine, but for Xbox One, the charging kit lasts a lot longer than AA batteries. I feel like it was well worth the purchase. My one complaint is that the charging cable is a bit tricky to put in and pull out of the controller. The battery pack snaps in easily though. When removing the cable from the controller, you have to be very careful to grab it as close to you can from the controller or else the top part of the cable,the plastic part where the little charging light is, might get a little loose, and then you will have to slide it back down a little before it will go back into the controller. This is not a big deal, but it is a little annoying. Overall, I own two of these charging kits and have been very pleased. I didn't find the charging kit for the Xbox 360 necessary, but I've found the Xbox One charging kit a very worthwhile investment.

Hold a charge for a surprisingly long time and charge up quick and the battery packs conceal nice and smoothly in the controller and don't lose contact when dropped from a fair distance.

Works much better than some other aftermarket ones we bought. I am pleased with this charger and battery.

These are the official XBox One play and charge battery packs and charge right from the console via USB. Works exactly as described and last a few hours without an issue.

So much better than having to purchased batteries every time they loose juice. And its easy to charge because it comes with the cord that can be connected to the USB port of the Xbox One.

With as much as I play Xbox, buying this rechargeable battery pack was a good investment. Saved me money from cycling through so many batteries

This is a must have if you like to save money and not buy batteries or worry about charging AA batteries. It will last mor then 6+ hours on a full charge with no issues.
