Great item, lasts for hours and I do t have to waste my time going out and getting batteries. Well worth the price.

Unfortunately, Xbox does not have the same rechargable batteries that the Ps4 does; however, this nifty battery fills in the gaps! As soon as I took the battery out of the package, it had a charge ready to be used! Since I purchased this item months ago, I have not noticed any decline in battery percentage drain over a period of time, nor have I seen any signs of deterioration. I would definitely recommend this product!

Both battery work fine and are great. But I would expect a bit longer battery life and the small metal micro USB head connection part that goes into the controller or battery is loose and wont connect properly or deliver a continuous charge. It'll only connect when I physically hold and push cable end at wierd angle and the port is also not a perfect fit. My short and better quality phone cable that is the same kind works with it 100% correct and this xbox charger cable also doesnt work with my phone (same loose end and port fit problem) so it's definitely this xbox cable problem. If u get past the target return time frame then the cable can easily be replaced with any new one but I cant afford this risk or defective item. And this specific charger set is licensed by Microsoft so that is a major problem and disappointment. My attached picture shows cable not charging when set down properly and pluged in and then charging when light cable weaight or pressure is on the head and pulling at angle. Id go with a different one but target is close to me and I need the cable now as I am disabled and cant work and I just have a xbox and phone for entertainment. I'm returning today and buying a new one or just replacing it. The return policy is very good. I'll update if target screws me over.

I resisted buying this and was using regular AA batteries for my controller. Felt like I was always putting in new batteries. So glad I gave in and bought the charge and play kit! The battery life seems much longer to me than using standard batteries. It’s super convenient to be able to charge while playing and much better than using a dock (which I’ve also done). Wish the charging cable was about a foot longer but that’s mostly due to my setup.

Be sure to get this when getting a new XBOX ONE! My only concern was when I traded in all my XBOX 360 for XBOX ONE @ Best Buy I forgot to ask about this one little detail. I.E. the new XBOX ONE comes with the standard controller W/ batteries. Wish the sells rep I worked with had mentioned this to me which required an additional trip to Best Buy. No one to blame but me in the end for this over site or maybe Microsoft should just make it part of the package going for the "green" aspect by eliminating batteries.

I've bought multiples of these for every controller I own and for my nephew for his Xbox. Saves from ever buying AA batteries and allows you to play if the battery is low by simply plugging in the controller. The cord is long enough for you to sit reasonably far away from the tv while the controller is charging and the controller will charge while the xbox is off if you have it plugged in. A must have if you own an xbox one.

If you want to play without interruption, you need this.

So much more manageable than having to constantly change out batteries! The cord is perfectly long, so you won't have to stop the game to charge your remote. You Best Buy this if you are even remotely a hardcore!

This is the Microsoft brand kit. That said, it works great, the cord has a light to show charging status. But since I bought 2, one for each controller, I have a second cord. Two issues, first that it was separate from the xbone controller, and should have been included. Second, I inky wanted a second battery, not the cord too.

Buying the rechargeable battery saves in the long run

Charges quickly. No more batteries to waste. Charging Wire is long.

Fast charging and way cheaper than buying batteries all the time !! A must have.
