Nice battery... seems to last quite a while. doesn't take that long to charge... I haven't charge while playing so I can not speak on the charge rate while playing

I have one buddy that frequently drops out when playing, as his batteries die, and he scrounges the house for AAs. That would drive me nutz - just get this! If you remember to plug it in when you log off, like maybe every other time, you should never get a low battery warning. Or just plug it in when you get the warning, and let it charge while you play. It works either way. I tried saving a few bucks and used a non-Microsoft battery once, but the extra performance of the MS kit is worth the price.

I've been using standard rechargeable batteries and have gotten stranded in the middle of games because the battery dies. This battery pack and cable is a great addition to the xbox one. The cable is really long and has a light to let you know when the battery is fully charged. It seems like the battery lasts for a long time before needing to be charged again. I bought two of these kits.

Can charge with the chord and play wireless keeps a good charge for hours

My Xbox one controller was eating my batteries and I don't even play for long hrs, but still they lasted very little so I decided to invest in this battery charger for the controller. I have to say that I love it. I know there are many out there from other brands that are cheaper but I read some reviews that said the kid won't close once you put on the battery as well as other negative reviews so I decided to go with the original. It actually charges pretty fast and I only charge until it completely drains my battery. I also love that the charging cable is really long so I can play having my controller connected to my Xbox one S. It's a battery, it last long enough, it charges farly quickly and I trust the brand. If you have an Xbox one you need this one on your controller.

When we bought the new XBox we decided to use rechargeable batteries instead of standard ones like we did with our old Wii. This rechargeable pack for the controller was a great solution and we like the play & charge feature. It took a couple hours to charge from a completely empty battery.

I've been using batteries AA with my XBOX One controller for a long time then decided to end all of that buy buying this charger kit. Rather than burning your money on buying batteries and interrupting play time when those batteries run out, now i can recharge it and play nicely and whenever want to charge i can stay play while charging with no hassle. Woth it!

I connot comment on if these will last for 30hr.s or not between charges but does it matter all that much for this comes with a nine foot usb cord for recharge and you can play and charge at the same time. For the money or for my money they are the ticket .I have had no issues with the battery getting hot,it does get luke warm at most and the USB has a charge indicater light.It lets me know when the battery charge is at 30% so I know when to recharge.I have about10.5 hr.s in one play session and have had this for a month.WORTH MY MONEY. Oh and no issues with the battery fitting!!!!!!! And notice I said battery not batteries.

One of those purchases where I asked myself "why did I wait so long?". I now never have to stop to change batteries, I just plug in and keep playing. A nice long cord makes this possible and now loose batteries are a thing of the past!

I was saddened by the lack of a rechargeable battery with the Xbox One controller at first. But, after thinking about the terrible battery life of my PS4's built in rechargeable battery I was fine with it. I went out and bought the Microsoft Plug n' Play kit. This thing is awesome! When plugged into your XB1 it will charge when the XB1 is off as well! Great Deal!

Excellent product. I refrained from this purchase thinking rechargeable AA batteries and a 2.5 foot USB cable would suffice. It didn't. I kept yanking the cord out and as some may know, disconnecting the controller with it on will require a hard reboot. This solved the problem. Tremendous run time on the pack and the cable is like 8 ft long at least. Amazing!

If you regularly use your Xbox One, you should also buy a Play & Charge Kit. I didn't buy mine at first until I realized that the Xbox One controller tends to go through more batteries than my Xbox 360 does. If you don't already have rechargeable batteries on hand, then I highly recommend getting this kit to cut down on money spent on AA batteries in the long haul.

Xbox hit the mark with the play & charge rechargeable battery but the cord could have been longer to prevent play close up to the tv and console.

I recently purchased an XBONE and realized the controller EATS through batteries as if they were the doritos I snack on whilst gaming. "NO MORE!" I said as I received a Best Buy Rewards offer for $20 off! I placed my order promptly on the website for local pick up and was out the door in 2 minutes. Charge lasts longer than my relationships so that is a plus.

Long Battery Life, doesn't die very often and it charges really quick.
