Must have. I did batteries for so long that I simply got tired of walking up and down stairs and running out to the store. This solves that problem.

Easy to install. I am sure it'll save me money on batteries. Charges while you play.

So far, the battery and charger work great. We will see how long they last over time. My one complaint is that the cord doesn't reach from my XBox to my chair.

Can't go wrong with a plug and play kit...really nice. Definately saves you on money considering how many batteries you won't have to buy anymore. Love it

The kit is actually pretty great, the included cable is plenty long to plug and play from across the room, and the batteries capacity doesn't see me needing to charge it but about every other day or so (the kit says it has a 30 hour battery life but I've honestly squeezed out around 25). A small issue with it though is initially the battery would not charge and after days I found out that the connector on the battery pack needed cleaned off... Which is odd for a brand new product. I would othwrwise reccomend this all together.

I did not realized this was available for Xbox One until I ran across it in Best Buy. Great addition. No need to keep wasting money on batteries.

My first set I bought when the xbox one first came out finally gave out after a few years of continuous use. I bought some Amazon branded ones not realizing it wasn’t a lithium battery and they where no where near as good as the Microsoft ones. If you use your Xbox for more than just gaming, the plug and play kit is essential if you don't want to have to replace your batteries every few weeks.

Not much to say about it. Works as expected. No reason not to get this. Why on earth anyone would keep spending money on aa batteries is beyond me.

This would be my second play and charge kit the first one i purchased was when the xbox one first came out. overall great product.

If you have wireless controllers, why would you spend time and money going back and forth to grocery stores or where ever to pay for crappy batteries. This has a long USB cord to charge your controller while you play or at rest. I'm sure it has saved me a hundred bucks in batteries. Do yourself a favor and invest in this.

I have to say, my favorite thing about The play and Charge, is removing any hassle of batteries. i have no need to carefully dock it to a charging stand, to have a back up pack ready just in case, or even bad charge times. a full charge will easily give me 2-3 days of intense gaming, and if i forget to charge it, i can just plug it in and play like normal.

Seems to last between 4-6 hours of game play. Be sure which battery pack your purchasing. This one is for the controllers with micro USB connections. I recently purchased new controllers with USB C. So the charging cord that comes with it doesn't work. Not a big deal except that one of the selling points is that the supplied cable has an LED indicator on it that shows when it's fully charged.

Good charging battery for the Xbox One remote, easy to use but somewhat pricey compared to the off brands.

Running out of batteries when you want to play more sucks! Play and Charge kit keeps you going and saves on buying regular batteries in the long run!

I purchased two of these Xbox One rechargeable battery kits for my grandson to use in his Xbox One controllers because I was tired of him taking fresh AA batteries every time he misplaced a AA battery. These rechargeable battery kits have saved a lot of headaches and they work great.

This is my second one, works well. You need to have the USB cable that comes with the kit in order to charge the battery, so don't lose the cable!

I would recommend these over the charging kits and stands only for one reason, the battery pack is a lithium ion pack rather than a NiMH battery pack.

The Play & Charge Kit for Xbox One is a must have accessory for any gamer. No need to worry about your controller dying in the middle of a game so long as you remember to keep it charged every now and again. It's a good idea to "exercise" the battery, meaning let it drain until it's almost dead and then charge it back up again. I would not recommend leaving it plugged in all the time.

This is waaaay better than buying a rechargeable batteries set. Best yet, it comes with a long cable so you can charge and play if needed. Great buy.
