These power packs are great, I have had one since the first XBOX one came out and it still holds a great charge, I am planning on buy one more for my new XBOX Series X that I have pre-ordered, and they still last longer than the PlayStation 4 dual shock batteries.

This item is a life saver! I now don't need to worry about the endless need for batteries. At least on my controller that is. This item is said to be lithium ion so you don't need to cycle charge to often: like every couple weeks is recommended and that's it. The battery life meets my expectations!

Perfect. Great savings. U get the adapter to update your Xbox one controls plus a battery. For $5 more than the adapter alone. Why wouldn't you?

I feel like an idiot. I didn't even know that there was a rechargeable kit for controllers. Dunno how many batteries I went through before I got this. This lasts longer than regular batteries. When I was using regular batteries, I was getting my butt kicked, since Kinect wasn't recognizing my actions. I guess my standard batteries were close to dying. Well, no more!!

For years I've used generic rechargeable AA batteries in my Xbox controllers. The problem with these AA batteries is that during a long session with your fire team, those batteries can run out at the worst moment and leave your character standing like a helpless zombie as the controller shuts down. It takes precious minutes to go to where the charged batteries are stored and remove the old batteries to install the recharged ones. The Xbox Play and Change Kit can save the game in this situation because you can have the charge cord within reach and simply plug the charge cord in and continue playing AS THE CONTROLLER IS BEING CHARGED. When this battery pack is installed into your controller you can charge from any micro USB phone charger, but the included micro USB charger has the added feature of an LED at the controller end that glows amber as the controller is charging and then turns green when the batteries are fully charged.

Huge benefit feels great not having my game paused because of a low battery, saves money big time

Original parts from Microsoft! Even though this product was $4-5 dollars more that other chargers in store, this was still the best choice.

This is my 3rd purchase of this charge kit for our xbox one controllers and they each work perfectly with out controllers. I hate that they are a little expensive, especially when added as a cost to the expensive controller but we've never had any issues with them not working. I only wish they would go on sale from time to time.

I recently purchased this and it works fine but sometimes when I leave it charging overnight, it says the battery is low. Overall decent product. Definitely saves money on batteries.

I don’t know why Microsoft doesn’t include these along with the console purchase but nonetheless a great must have item.

I upgraded to these after using some 3rd party versions for awhile. In all honesty, you may end up paying a little more, but you won't be sorry by staying with Microsoft's version. The charge lasts so much longer, and the life of it lasts longer overall too. Had to pick up another.

This is awesome because you can charge while you play rather than having to wait for your dead battery to charge while on a charging unit.

These should be free instead of Microsoft adding to environmental waste and including AA batteries with the One. However they must make lots of money so they can donate it back to the world ;) So if you dont want to have a freezer full of batteries LOL these charge and play kits are a must have. Luckily these seem to hold a longer charge than the previous 360 versions.

It's so convenient not having to use double as. Plugging it in with the long cord is a breeze

I bought the charging kit and it is like awesome I can play while charging and when it is done I put the cord away for later one thing I like is that I can plug it into my pc and it will charge how great is that I am also thinking I can use my cell phone wall mount to charge the controller as well.

I had the old XBox 360 version of this because I hate always buying batteries when the controller dies. Saves me money and works great!
