This is a must have for anyone who plays video games regularly. Why keep replacing AA+ Batteries. You easily spend $25+ in a years time on replacement batteries so just go ahead and get a charge pack to save you the hassle. I don't know how I ever existed without one of these. I got one in each of my controllers.

It works like advertised. Although I feel like the battery doesn't last as long as regular batteries. Don't hesitate in buying it, mini usb cord that is included is long enough to game whilst charging the battery.

I bought this charging pack to try and stop using so many batteries when I'm playing my Xbox One S. Unfortunately, I've been forced to go back to batteries due to the extremely poor performance of this product. For starters, to get the battery pack into my Xbox One S controller, I felt like I was pushing hard enough to break either the pack or my controller before finally getting it to fit inside the designated slot (same goes for trying to remove the pack). Secondly, the pack never fully charges and I've gotten a maximum of 6-8 hours of straight gameplay usage before the controller dies (claims that it can last up to 20 hours of gameplay). Finally, overtime I plug in the charger while I am in a party with my friends, everyone complains of a loud buzzing sound coming from my mic due to the charger. My controller doesn't stay connected while charging and playing either, extremely finicky, if I hit the charger on my desk or something the controller turns off and asks me to reconnect. Would highly NOT recommend this product.

This is a must if you are an avid Xbox gamer. Purchased for my son, so much more convenient than batteries. We always purchase a new one when the old one doesn't start to charge as well, otherwise will be spending a lot on batteries. Recommend to anyone who games even an average amount of time.

I had tried numerous 3rd party Xbox One controller rechargeable packs, and they have all been too big for the Elite. Not too big like I can't shut the battery case, but the flap wouldn't be "tight". This is the only battery I've ran across that actually fits the Elite perfectly.

Microsofts play and charge kit maybe the highest price of all, but it's quality is unbeatable compared to other patent brands.

I have several controllers and this one is the best of all my rechargeable controllers. I have 7 controllers, yes 7! We are a family of 8 and have several Xboxes. I have bought several other brands and the Microsoft play and charge stands up to the punishment of cable wear and tear that a 5 year old can dish out.

This is my second purchase of this same product. I now have two controllers that I can charge up when the controller dies.

I purchased the play and charge kit to replace my dual charger because it was not working. The Play and charge works good. The batter life is good and being able to plug it in and play is nice. The one thing I do not like is the fact that the battery is not the same as the batteries that came with my dual charger. Luckily it started working a week later. Good product, but does everything have to be just different enough that they can't work together?

so much better than the chinese brand rechargeable batteries or running through a ton of double A batteries. The charge on these bad boys last a long time even after lots of charges they still hold a great charge. Very satisfied customer.

I rarely buy batteries anymore since most electronics come with rechargeable batteries. Microsoft is still behind on that trend (which is why I docked this product 1 star) but the rechargeable battery and cord are awesome! The cord is long enough you can sit almost anywhere and still use your controller while it's charging, and when its fully charged, you will have dozens of hours of gameplay before you need to charge it again.

I wish I had bought one of these when I first bought my xbox one in December of 2015. Before purchasing this, I went through so many batteries that could've otherwise been used for different electronic devices. I rarely have to charge the controller and when I do, I usually just charge it when I'm not playing.

Ordered this along with the Battlefield 1 XBOX One S console. Product received was defective and would not allow controller to charge. Returned it easily enough to my local Best Buy store and picked up a replacement. New one works beautifully. Charges controller very fast. Easy to unplug and hide when extra visible wires are not wanted. Also comes in handy if you forget to charge (you can just have it plugged in and play). Long enough cord allows for comfortable playing.

Microsoft made so can't go wrong with a first party purchase, in long run you save more money and time than buying batteries

This is the best way to use your controller! No fooling around with batteries and wasting money on them. Highly recommended.

I use my controler to play on my tablet and this keeps a charge for a good week! Keep in mind that I only play a few hours a day but this still alot! be carefull not to break the power cord that comes with it because that is the only way you know when it is done chargeing.
