The battery charges fairly quickly, lasts for just under twelve hours of play time, and the cable included that you use to charge the controller also allows you to both update the controller's firmware, and to have it be used as a wired controller for those times when a faster response time is required (like fighting games.)

Just what I wanted. Not sure why it's so expensive though. I'm sure Best Buy made atleast 200% profit on these items.

I have purchased the off brand products in the past however the battaries tend to lose charging ability rapidly. This battery holds a great charge time and only takes about an hour for a full charge which is nice compared to other products. Will be ordering more for my other controllers.

Have used a bunch of after market rechargeable units and the one by Microsoft takes the cake great run time on your controller even on my Elite unit and the supplied USB charging cable is long and has a great little LED light on the micro connection side to show you when your controller is fully charged

I bought a custom Xbox One controller for my Series X because I like the design better than the new ones and I don’t use batteries, so I needed an older charger. This charger kit will not work with the new Series X controllers. The thing I like about this charger is that the light will illuminate on the cable when it’s done charging. The Series X Charge kit doesn’t have the indicator light. This will charge but the kit sometimes doesn’t show that it’s done charging until 10-14 hours later, for some reason. It’s supposed to take around 4 hours. It may make a difference whether you’re plugging this into a PC USB slot or just using a phone USB cube. My PC died so I’m using my iPhone’s USB charge cube, which may account for the inconsistency. You can also plug the controller charge cable into the console and this will also likely be a better experience.

With the amount of money you have to shell out for a controller alone, why do i have to buy the battery separate?

Stop replacing batteries all the time. This charge kit replaces the regular batteries. You can charge it while playing. Modern controllers also power your gaming headsets and vibrate. Energy consumption is higher so this is a great fit.

It charges fast the control, and the best thing is that you dont have to pause the game to charge the control.

Way better than constantly swapping out AA’s. Hours of use between charges. I probably don’t play as much as hardcore gamers but for the average user you can go 1-2 months between charges playing 2-3 times/week.

Works good, no problems. Charges well. Plan on saving a lot of money on batteries by using this.

Last about 20 hours, my only comllaint is that this does not come with a usb c charger. The now controllers are designed different but it still works well with them. This charger only comes with a usb b charger.

If your a hardcore game and eat up batteries I say this is definitely needed!! So sad that the controllers are so expensive already, and you have put more money into them, unlike the wii pro controller.

The battery pack works perfectly. Cable that comes with it is long enough to keep playing while charging too.
