Far superior to the off-brand versions

Far superior to the off-brand versions, the Microsoft play and charge kit came with 1 battery and 1 charging cable. I've bought multiple off-brand battery packs and charging cables. They are never the same quality and durability as Microsoft branded ones. Usually, the charging cable is the first to go... Either it develops a short over time, or one of the prongs bend. Then, shortly after noticed the off-brand batteries start to lose capacity... Often to the point, they must be kept plugged in. I have experienced none of these problems with Microsoft brand play and charge kit. The quality is well worth the added price.

Does what it is supposed to do, just a little bit overpriced. Also it would’ve been nice if it had a light like the xbox one version has, so you know when it is completely charged when in stand by mode.

You don’t need a new back plate and the c port charging cable is ridiculously long and I like it. Definitely worth it.

These battery packs typically last a long time and the battery life on a full charge is amazing

Definitely durable and the cable is plenty long to play across the room!
