The controller is more expensive for you to have a rechargeable controller.

Cheaper than Amazon. Fast check out and gave me a chance to meet with the people at Best Buy

Just what i needed. Eliminates the need for multiple AAs, can play plugged in or wireless if charged, so no downtime.

They work well until they don’t. When they work, they are nice. After a few months the pins like to work their way into the battery pack and it can become completely useless

Got this along with a new controller. Good investment in the long run to avoid having to replace batteries.

It seems to be functioning well. However, with the older model for the Xbox One there was an LED that changed color as the charge completed. With this version we are unable to easily see when the charge is complete.

I’m not a fan of Xbox controllers due to this battery issue but will admit this is a good idea in order to replace them down the line. Great to future proofing controllers.

Converted my wired controller to wireless... well worth it.

Charger cable doesnt work. Battery does not reliably hold a charge. Sometimes it holds well and lasts and other times it dies much faster

very good the only thing is that it will not work with xbox one controller.

I purchased 2 of these for the new Xbox but one had to be returned because it wouldn’t charge. We are still using ones we purchased 5 years ago for the old Xbox. I wish the cable had a charging light like the old one.

Works as advertised. Wish it communicated with controller led some how, to inform of charge level or charging while system off.

This has been an excellent accessory for my XSX. I really don’t like having to routinely replace batteries. Especially in gaming controllers. This takes that hassle away. I only wish the battery life was better.

The product itself is great...but c'mon Microsoft, lets just include rechargeable batteries inside the controller...something Playstation has done for 2 generations now.

Works good, all though anytime I use my controller with the wired cored, once I unplug it- it takes forever to reconnect to my Xbox. 10 minutes it took the last time.

Great little battery. Saves me from buying batteries for my Xbox controller.

What can I say it sure beats having a replace batteries not sure why they wouldn't just have this in the controller out of the box but for a few extra bucks you're good to go.

Must have! Best part isn’t that it’s rechargeable it’s that you play while plugged in as well! If one complaint is that the cord is only like 9ft. 12ft would be preferable.

Always good to have when you do not want to spend money on batteries
